Preparing for National Empty Chair Monday
Glenn reports that Monday is “NATIONAL EMPTY CHAIR DAY.” Doesn’t hurt to be prepared:

I’d like to point out that there were many empty chairs at the Republican convention.
So many attendants were standing up and applauding that many of the chairs went unused.

From the reports, it sounds like the Democrats are going to be shipping people in from hundreds of miles around just to avoid the sight of too many empty chairs at their convention, though there are bound to be lots and lots of those nonetheless.

Our family has a large gathering at the beach tomorrow. I think everyone is bringing an empty chair with some Obama “literature”. Should be fun.
