I expect our usual gang of idiots will protest that the people Schiff interviewed are not representative of Democrats as a whole.
” I do think at a certain point you’ve made enough money.” – some unimportant Democrat.
I did hear a Democrat on talk radio opine that all incomes should be capped at $1 Million per year (“that’s enough for anybody”) and the Government should confiscate any income above that amount.
Which means the Government would get exactly $0 in revenue under that scheme because no one is going to work hard enough to earn over a million if the Government’s going to seize all of it.
Not all Democrats may be as opinionated as those Schiff interviewed, but the party’s hostility toward profits and people making money is well-demonstrated by their rhetoric.

Ted B. (Charging Rhino)says
That’s the kind of talk you would have found on the streets just before the 1933 Wiemar Republic elections. We know how well THAT turned out…
The hours of unedited footage which he couldn’t cram into his narrative. Just by the intonation of some of their voices, you can tell that he had to pull back the severity of his question to get something out of his subjects.
I’m sure I could have gone around the RNC and compiled a 5-minute video of Republican attendees who would have agreed to a non-sensical question like, “Would you support gays converting to straights if it meant lowering the federal deficit?” I think Kathryn Hepburn said it best in On Golden Pond, “Come here, Norman. Hurry up. The loons! The loons! They’re welcoming us back. ”
In fact, now, I wish I would have flown to Tampa and did such a thing. Oh well. Que Sera, Sera.

Then, why didn’t you? Show us the video.

Also known as “moving the goalposts.” Like this: “It doesn’t matter that Schiff got Democrat after Democrat to admit, on-camera and at their convention with no alcohol involved, that they really are against corporate profits! Because he didn’t get all 10,000 people! And he posed the question; it didn’t just spill out of all 10,000 of their mouths! And because they didn’t all agree to a ban; some only thought that corporate profits should be capped, or confiscated!”
(continued) Thus, when the glass ought to be empty and it’s news that it has anything in it, spin it as half-empty. Schiff scores a goal (in terms of exposing who the Democrats really are), so move the goalposts to make it seem like he didn’t.
1) Suppose you had gone around the RNC and gotten delegates to agree to a proposition that their candidates would never admit to. Would you then add, “But I also had hours of video that were just nothing. So my video reveals nothing” – or other goalpost-shifting?
2) Suppose Clinton had an (R) after his name. Would you still emphasize the alleged rape victim’s denial of her claim, over the facts that (1) she had told a consistent story of at the time of the alleged rape, and (2) she later recanted her denial, explaining that she had only ever given it from feeling personally terrorized?
I think we all know the answer to those questions.
ILC – I saw this video via Twitter. Just saw now that you had posted it in the comments on earlier post!!
Great minds think alike!
🙂
As I commented before, a ‘favorite’ moment is 2:57 where the lady says, “I will support anything my President wants to do. Anything!”
So… many… things… to point out wrong… with that… brain can’t… function.

Katharine, sorry.

The Democrat shills are so tediously predictable.
Yeah, pointing out the shortcomings of both sides and holding one’s nose at the voting booth makes one a shill.
By that logic, attending a football game puts one on the road to conservatism.
Hard to hold your nose when both hands are occupied on the keyboard, typing out vigorous defenses of one side and slamming everything about the other.
Actually Cinesnatch, rising to defend an accused rapist when there is a (D) after his name, among other things, makes one a Democrat shill.
I mean, let’s do a couple of thought-experiments.
1) Suppose you had gone around the RNC and gotten delegates to agree to a proposition that their candidates would never admit to. Would you then add, “But I also had hours of video that were just nothing. So my video reveals nothing” – or other goalpost-shifting?

Touché.
On another note, one of the major actors from you favorite show tweeted today. Just wanted to give you the head’s up, in case you hadn’t caught it.
DNC Delegate: “I would like to kill Mitt Romney.”
No prompting from the interviewer.
No hesitation from the delegate about saying this on camera.
You mean that sweet old grandma speaking broken English? Isn’t she a performance artist?
On-camera death threats, yes how “sweet”. Anybody who would do that, if they’re expressing a pro-Democrat view, is obviously “sweet”.
It’s so sweet when old people talk about murdering their political opponents.
Chairman of Palm Beach County Democrats: “Christians want Jews to die. “
It’s better, I think, when Democrats just call for banning profits.
I think i’m going to throw up after watching this….
The stupid here, it burns! Without corporate profits, these idiots wouldn’t be able to get all their free stuff from Obama’s stash. Morons.
I’m so glad I’m not a Democrat anymore. (Was, for almost a couple decades there.)
