Actually, I can discern it beautifully.

Male-female couples who observe the requirements of Catholic law, including no sex prior to making their lifetime commitment to each other and no sex outside the relationship for the lifetime thereafter, have a miniscule (if not zero) HIV/STD rate.

In contrast, gay men have an STD rate forty-plus times the average population, much less committed Catholic couples.

Why should society subsidize your promiscuity and stupidity, Richard Rush, especially when your promiscuous and stupid behavior drives up health costs for everyone and requires us to pay you disability when you give yourself HIV? Your relationship IS harming other people because your stupidity, irresponsibility, and inability to keep a commitment is requiring the rest of us to pay your bills.

Why?
Because this is what the polls say. All of the late movement seems to be going Obama’s way. Maybe I am wrong, but usually the polls are more-or-less correct in these matters.
