So since the drama is pretty much over, I’m declaring the Election Coverage at an end. New posts may commence.
I appreciate everyone’s participation tonight here and on Twitter. I know Dan, Nick and I will have a lot to say over the next few days as well.
Before I forget, we have had the best two months ever since GayPatriot was formed in 2004. We are eternally grateful for your support.
I’m trying to remain positive this evening and just get a good night’s sleep. Plenty of time for 20-20 hindsight.
Stay strong, America.

So….. too early to predict the 2016 nominees? Walker v Hillary anyone?
“I’m trying to remain positive this evening and just get a good night’s sleep. “
Thanks for the coverage. Challenging times ahead, my nation is a stranger to me.
Paul – “too early to predict the 2016 nominees?”
Sorry, but the Republic is dead, the voters just killed it.
“This is how liberty dies…with thunderous applause.”
Can we all just ignore Carl Rove and his buddies from now on?
So, Bruce!
You think people like me, gay youth, are tyrannically holding America hostage. because we make up, according to the CDC 4-6% population, and we want equal rights. Now that it is clear you are in the minority, having lost the election, and see that all four state with gay marriage on the ballot going for the gays, will you stop holding America hostage?
Maybe.
The American voter had a chance to hold this product in their hands before the purchase, knowing fully everything about it’s defects, and they decided to buy it anyway.
Our coming disaster won’t be Obama’s fault. I blame the American voter. They saw the guard rail rapidly moving towards them and they failed to veer off.
Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice shame on me! Shame on those who voted to reelect Obama! It means that George W. Bush will be blamed for the sad state of the economy even though we will have a 20 trillion dollar deficit, and unemployment will continue to rise in the private sector due to ObamaCare. In his acceptance speech, he said he will reach across the aisel. Bull!! Four years ago he said he would be a post partisan president, and look how he divided the nation. I still have the picture in my mind of a round table he had with Republicans on the Health Care Bill when Senator Mc Cain complained that there was no Republican input. Obama´s response, ¨We won.¨ That´s post partisan? That´s reaching across the aisle? The pundits are giving a miriade of reasons why Romney lost, from too conservative, failing to reach out to minorities, etc. If the issue was the economy, that effects all sectors of society. The economy is broken and the fools who voted for Obama failed to understand that. The economy is broken and were sending an incompetent to repair it. It´s like sending a student learning auto mechanics to perform brain surgery.
During the campaign I received so many e-mails from conservative groups saying how close we were to winning the White House, as though we were following Moses to lead us into the Promised Land. And the kicker was we were so close to taking back the Senate. Instead we lost seats which means for the next four years Harry Reid will still the country to operate without a budget.
The scariest thing of all about Obama´s reelection is that he will nominate more Kagens and Sotomayors to the Supreme Court. That scares me. Even if the Republicans take back the government in 2016, Obama´s fingerprints will be on the Court for the next twenty, thirty, or forty years. Any conservative legislation will not pass judicial review. Romney only touched the subject during the Republican debates, but never have I heard him mention it on the stump.
In the end the one person whose stock, with me, went OW BW; that is to say zero, zilch, is General Colin Powell for endorsing Obama for another four years. Four years agoa I was disappointed that this military person didn´t endorse the war veteran Senator McCain. I looked upon as a racial thing a pride in the first African American. That still has to be the reason for the second endorsement. I think that RINO would be happier as a Democrat and he should become a 95 percenter.
Right now it looks like we´re marching toward oblivion. Within two years we could become another Greec or Spain. On another thread it was posted a quote by Nikita Kruschev, how we will be fed socialism little by little until one day we wake up communists. We are marching on our way to destruction.
But at least we’ll be able to get married, Roberto. /sarc
No worries.
First, the skyrocketing abortion rate is eliminating the next generation of gay youth.
Second, the current generation of gay youth is doing a good job of eliminating itself.
Who’s going to win the argument for rationed care and welfare checks: the baby boomers who are going to be retiring en masse, or the tiny sliver of “gay youth”?
That’s what makes you and yours very funny, JPerry2006. You sold everything else for the promise of a gay-sex marriage certificate, which you only want because you see it as revenge against Christians.
Not exactly intelligent. But then again, no one ever claimed you were.
You can’t be serious.
