Congress has extended the sales tax deduction on a yearly basis up until last year. In August it was reported that it would be extended in 2012 by another yearly authorization. Something tells me that the Fiscal Cliff will eliminate that deduction in negotiations.

Amazon started collecting sales tax in Texas in June after an agreement was reached that the state claimed 269 million dollars was owed by Amazon was settled. Our state comptroller says that she and other states are wanting a federal law to clarify this.

My idiot RINO AL governor wants an Amazon sales tax; however, with the Republicans in control of the legislature, I don’t see this happening.

Glad I live in NH where we do not have a sales tax.

Starting next-year, here in NJ we’re going to be paying 7%-sales tax through Amazon. They sold-us-out in-exchange for sweetheart financing from the State on two-million-sqft of warehouse space that will primarily service New York City. Grrrr …
