  2. Well, this could be divisive if someone is offended by it and perhaps it would be better for all of us to shrug our shoulders because there is nothing we can do about it; “so what difference does it make” is actually the key to understanding our place in the hope and change “futility” line.

    Nurse: What difference does it make?

    Politician: What difference does it make?

    And so on.

    American: You lied to me about a terrorist attack, a threat to the American people which disproves your candidate’s entire story on foreign policy.
    Hillary: What difference, at this point, does it make?

    American: You are the nation’s chief law enforcement officer, and you provably committed a crime of perjury in order to obstruct justice.
    Bill: What difference, at this point, does it make?

    I love that phrase! It perfectly captures the Clintons’ sociopathic relationship with the truth. “We won. We’re here. The fact that we lied to get here and lied to stay here, is irrelevant.”
