Don’t Blame Me, I voted for Meg Whitman

March 19, 2013 by B. Daniel Blatt

California now leads nation in unemployment at 9.8 percent:

California Democrats now control every statewide elective office and have veto proof majorities in both chambers of the state legislators. They passed a $6 billion tax hike last November and the state’s carbon cap and trade and renewable electricity mandates are now being implemented. No state that has embraced the progressive policy vision more than California.

There is just one problem: California now leads the nation in unemployment.

…and that’s only the official rate. The real rate is far higher.

    Q. What’s the difference between California and Detroit?
    A. About ten years.

We conservatives look at things like this and shake our heads in disbelief. To us it is crystal clear as to the solutions. But, democrats/progressives flat out don’t care. We are looking at a future Detroit, on a much grander scale, as V the K predicts. Further, as long as democrats control Washington, the California and Detroits of the world will be bailed out by or tax dollars.

Personally, this will not end well.

California leads the nation in unemployment for a simple reason – all the producers up and left y’all for US in Texas! 🙂

    Way to go, Govermasturbator Moonbeam.

Blame Meg Whitman, who is a RINO and ran a Mitt Romney style campaign

Fauxcahontas has proposed (?) a $22/hour minimum wage. Are Democrats born with an extra chromosome or are they born wearing the ‘I’m With Stupid’ t-shirt?

I don’t blame Whitman or Romney entirely. The fact is, the voters have decided that free contraception and subsidies for Big Bird are more important than jobs or sound fiscal policy. That’s why the USA is f–ked.

@VtheK: Frankly I’d happily pay for free condoms and Big Bird, along with a number of absurd discretionary spending items. However, I’m willing to give them this crap only if we can finally fix the REAL problem with the budget: so-called entitlements that eat up more than anything else and will bankrupt us if this isn’t addressed. Politicians on both sides have lied to us for years, telling us that we can have it all while not paying for it and use discretionary spending items to distract us from the elephant in the room. No, until Social Security, MediCare, Medicaid and now Obamacare are fixed we are screwed. Big Bird and free condoms are nothing in comparison.

One of my brother-in-laws is thinking of packing up and moving to San Diego. He is in the IT industry. My sister is on verge of a mental breakdown. At the age of 52 he is has lived his entire life in South Carolina and has deep roots in Columbia. I just pray that he comes to his senses.

You are mistaken if you think Democrats regard this as a problem.

All Democrats care about is that they have total power. Unemployment is irrelevant. Deficits are irrelevant. Everything is irrelevant except power, and they have a monopoly on it.

To liberals, California is an unqualified success story.

Having accomplished nothing, Obama will be forgotten days after he leaves office. The much bigger concern is the Republican Party. There’s no point in criticizing your opponent unless you have something better to offer. Romney was proof that we don’t. Now Republican party leadership is gutting its core – conservative Christianity – by following the same lead as the Democrats. Phony panderers (i.e. NJ Gov. Christie) who endorse homosexual perversion (pseudonym – ‘gay marriage’) are evil. Allowing its followers to adopt innocent children (as Romney supported) is just as horribly wicked. The Word of God states that it is not just those who DO the evil, but also those who ENDORSE their actions who will be judged guilty and condemned by Jesus Christ at the judgment. We are becoming a 1 party system. Sincere Christians – expect to be hated and ridiculed for speaking the truth. That which sinful man loves – God despises. That which God loves – evil man despises. (The Book of James) Jesus warned us that, if evil people hated Him, they will likewise hate us. Regardless of what the false Bible teachers claim, God’s grace is not free. Repentance from sin is required.
