Has EMILY’s list ever asked anyone to apologize for calling Sarah Palin “Caribou Barbie”?

Been a crazy, odd past few weeks. Apologies for not blogging.

This just showed up on my Facebook:

Has the group ever called on a liberal blogger — or public figure — to apologize for mocking the accomplished immediate past governor of Alaska?

  1. All true, but what Emily’s List really ought to apologize for is for supporting absolutely no limits to abortion. Abortion can be a difficult issue, and I understand why people have nuanced positions. I do myself. But Emily’s List supports the sort of rabid radicalism of people like Wendy Davis, which believes that there’s no problem destroying a baby in the womb that, were the baby already born, would have no trouble living through modern technology. Our ignorance about what a 24-week baby looks like maybe could have been excused in 1973, but with 3D ultrasound, how could someone say that’s not a baby?

No – because libtards never apologize for anything.

    Next?

  4. Liberals don’t apologize. Muslims don’t apologize. “African-Americans” don’t apologize.

It’s a foolish game only foolish people play. And The Most Foolish People On The Planet are its major players.

  5. After seeing how the progressive left has made a rock star out of a woman who filibustered for late term abortions and keeping abortion mills unregulated… I never want to hear any of them ever claim “We’re not pro-abortion, we’re pro-choice” again.

  6. Abortion Barbie seems rather apt as a metaphor for Davis-after all she was defending not abortion rights in general but an objection to a law that limited abortion after week 20 (when the baby has all its fingers and toes and can feel pain) and lax health standards at clinics (which puts the “safe” part of the abortion arguement in question).

  8. Oh no! Erick Erickson called abortion extremist Wendy Davis “abortion Barbie”? That’s the worst thing anyone has ever said about or done to their political opponents!

  9. Speaking as a native Texan (and regular voter), I sure hope that Ms. Davis decides to run for governor in 2014.

She’ll get her a$$ handed to her in her first debate. Why? Because she’s a one-trick donkey. Her negatives approval numbers in Texas haven’t even begun to inch downward – yet.

And yes, I went there. Deal with it.

  10. You have to remember, whenever the Left is busy attacking the Right for something, you can bet the Left is already doing whatever it is they are complaining about the Right doing.

Yup, no concern for Caribou Barbie, or Fey’s portrayal of Palin with the “I can see Russia from my house,” so eff them — Abortion Barbie it is!

  11. Why are they having the vapors over this? I thought they were loving them some abortions.

  12. “Demand an apology!”

How is it possible for people to have *that* much time on their hands?
