Guess Who actually calls its opponents unpatriotic and wants to jail them?

October 20, 2013 by Jeff (ILoveCapitalism)

Item #366,720 in the archives of “The Left is and does, that of which it falsely accuses the Right.”

At MoveOn.org, more than 44,000 have called for the GOP leaders to be arrested for ‘seditious conspiracy’ over the recent government shutdown (and ‘default’ scare). As ZH points out, that’s more people than have signed up for Obamacare.

Needless to say, MoveOn’s petition is a FAIL on several levels:

  • In essence, it’s a petition to suppress democracy and establish a one-party state.
  • In the recent shutdown, it was Democrats who refused to pass House funding measures to maintain the government.
  • In the recent default scare, it was President Obama who repeatedly threatened America with default, if he was not going to get his way.
  • The petition doesn’t even get the ‘seditious conspiracy’ statute right. As Andrew McCarthy puts it, the real crime of

…seditious conspiracy is…about the use or planned use of force against the nation.

The statute (Section 2384 of the federal penal code), which is very straightforward and easily accessible online, targets those who conspire “to overthrow, put down, or to destroy by force the Government of the United States, or levy war against them, or by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States, or by force to seize, take, or possess any property of the United States…”

Hmm, forcefully seizing U.S. property…as in, occupying it? Isn’t that what OccupyWallStreet did to some federal parks? What did the Left have to say, about them?

The post 2000 Democratic Party have taken Orwell’s 1984 as a guide, not a warning.

    Look among the Lefty Blogs (and MSM) and see their Two Minute Hate;

We on the Right (those who converted and those born within) were taught Politics is an honorable sport. Play hard during campaigns, play soft during Governing and the same we be returned.

But since the rise of Bush and Palin Hatred, its time to fight fire with fire.

And now we are in a Cold Civil War thanks to the current POTUS.

All we are missing now is Sulla and Marius right now.

Earlier today, I spotted an item from September wherein Sen. Barbara Mikulski, F-MD (F = Fascist) decried the “Tea Baggers” that supported Ted Cruz.

The rhetoric issuing from the liberal ruling class is entering dangerous territory – labeling political opponents terrorists and describing them with sexual slurs. It’s one thing for Bill Maher to use language like this (bless his heart, it’s the best he can do) but it’s wicked when it comes from our elected rulers (leader doesn’t fit anymore).

Hugh Hewitt’s Thursday interview with Mark Steyn contains a sound bite wherein Obama lectures us on over-heated rhetoric interspersed with the scurrilous sound bites from Pelosi, Reid, et al (the Brain Trust)… Obama paused for a long time and HH thinks it’s because even Obama was astounded by his own words.

We’re now in a US where elected officials, like the old slag from MD, feel free to insult citizens of the nation they’re elected to lead. Hey, Barbara, go f— yourself.

Just past six minutes in (but entire ten minutes is worth it):

“Cold Civil War.” You hit the proverbial nail on the head, JSF. That really is what our nation is in right now and our side, I fear, is losing. And that scares the hell out of me.

Shocking that mike doesn’t condemn these people the way he condemned the one guy with a flag at the veterans rally.

No, it’s not really shocking, just making his true face clear.
