If GZ broke the law then he should be punished… but I suspect no one, having been subjected to a media lynching of the magnitude accorded GZ, could walk away without major issues.
If I were him, I’d have figured out some way to leave the country for good.
American justice… sigh.

Having read some of the Twitter comments about this incident (without any details about what actually happened), some of the hatred spewed about this man is amazing: accusation is evidence of guilt apparently. It’s also enough in the minds of those same people to prove his ‘guilt’ of murder in the Martin shooting.
I’m with you KCRob: sigh, indeed

George Zimmerman is a dead man walking in the sense that his life was turned inside out and he is now the property of the tabloid world until he no longer sells pulp.
So long as there are “victims” who feel robbed of their pound of Zimmerman flesh, the tabloid writers will stay on his back. If Zimmerman is volatile and unstable, the paparazzi will keep him riled up and be right there to photograph him when he explodes. He is their “redneck” Alec Baldwin.
Someone is feeding Zimmerman. Maybe he sold his story and he is busy burning through the loot. But he is not acting like a guy who is trying to put his life back together by clawing his way back to normalcy. But then, the Jerry Springer audience isn’t really interested in anything but the antics.
No one can draw any legitimate conclusions from what the Zimmerman of this moment is doing and what he did on the night that he killed Trayvon Martin.
Understanding that point leads to wonderment over why he continues to garner so much attention for his messed up life.
We are being treated to a blow by blow, slow motion presentation of a psychological train wreck in the making. And it may take a while before he shoots himself.

I have to wonder that if after his acquittal he feels invincible. He can´´t seem to keep a low profile even if his life depended upon it. On the other hand his rap sheet doesn´t indicate any violence. Is it possbile that the beating he took fron Trayvon Martin might have given him a concusion. Trayon was pounding George´s head on the sidewalk.

The last time a Zimmerman girlfriend (is this the same gf who made the “he pointed a firearm at me” claim last time?) accused him of this sort of thing it turned out to be questionable at best, and bogus at worst. The story died out PDQ.
Is it possible that, in the same way that there’s been a spate of restaurant waitresses howling to the tabloid press about alleged racist and homophobic scrawling by nasty customers on their dinner and lunch checks, all bogus accusations so far, that this isn’t more of the same?
It’s not hard to imagine that this could be the case in a country brimming with narcissistic and nihilistic LIVs.

Not sure if the ‘tip-stiffing’ allegations can completely apply here. I suspect those actions are more indicative of ‘Hey! I’ve figured out a way to save ourselves 15 bucks!’ as much as, if not more than an anti-gay statement.
Bogus or not though; this waitress is showing an excellent way to turn it around.
