The bill says the election was a “historic step in the effort towards equality in the United States” and that previous elections in the nation involved intimidation and physical violence that prevented millions of African-Americans from voting. It also commends Obama for his work as a community organizer who registered voters after he graduated from Harvard Law School.
One wonders if students will be taught the proper hymns with which to praise The Lightbringer.

The significance being that it illustrates the dangers of electing a man who is then shielded from all criticism on the basis of his skin colour?
Sounds like a great argument for home schooling.
The significance is he couldn’t be criticized because of fear of giving offense, he turned out to be disastrously incompetent because he had never been vetted, he failed to faithfully enact the laws that were on the books but couldn’t be impeached for it again for fear of giving offense. Historically he will end up being the worst president ever to hold office and we should never allow anything like this to ever happen again. I take it they don’t realize that this could backfire.
The so-called first Black President’s only requirements were to get elected and irritate you. In that regards, yes, his career has been very effective and historically significant. Anything else is just collateral damage to his followers.
If he was supposed to irritate me he still comes in as a miserable failure. I grew up expecting to have to deal with the aftermath of a nuclear war so as of now I’m good. The pres. is eminently mockable so I find plenty of humor to keep me occupied.
North Korea comes to mind
