The San Francisco Sex Truck

In Nancy Pelosi’s Progressive Utopian Collective known as San Francisco, an “artist” has converted a delivery truck into, essentially, a rolling bathhouse.

The Hook-Up truck – a conceptual “art” installation consisting of a box truck converted to a sex suite on wheels, including temperature controls, birth control, safe sex accouterments, and a camera option, in case you and yours decide to make the escapade a YouTube sensation, is finally open for service the weekend of May 2nd and 3rd.

“This is a game for adults who want to play with sex,” says Emerson. “You have to be nice, and cool,” she said, adding “No Drunks!, but everyone is welcome to join us. There will be a party going on all the time!”

Democrats Digging at the Bottom of the Marianas Trench

Yeah, the Democrats have gone full r-word on the racism thing. A Democrat candidate for governor in Wisconsin thought it would be a brill PR move to hand out KKK hoods to Republicans.

Democratic candidate for governor Brett Hulsey plans to hand out white Ku Klux Klan hoods to Wisconsin Republicans to highlight what he says are their racist policies.

Hulsey on Thursday came into the state Capitol press room to show off a white hood he says he made with his daughter’s sewing machine using curtain material he purchased for $1.

Hulsey says he will attempt to hand out the KKK hoods to Republicans as they gather Friday for the state party convention in Milwaukee.

If there were any sane people left in the Democrat Party, they would embarrassed and ashamed.

But instead, they just tune into MSDNC to have their insanity validated, by people like Rage Virus Patient Zero Ed Schultz, who says that voting against increasing the minimum wage is … well, just guess.

Feminist: There’s No Such Thing as Gender

They’ve gone from fifty genders to zero; works for me.

In her new book Gender Hurts, Sheila Jeffreys, a professor of sexual politics at the University of Melbourne, argues that transgenderism is damaging not because it is a devastating mental illness – although she admits the condition “is invariably born of severe psychological distress” – but because to acknowledge transgenderism is to admit that such a thing as gender exists in the first place.

It would resolve the progressive paradox that sexuality was innate but gender was a social construct. Or was it the other way around? I don’t know; and neither do they. None of that was based on actual science, anyway. Except the science of “feelings,” which isn’t an actual scientific discipline. In reality, the only things that should have genders are Latin nouns (and German nouns, and Russian nouns, I know). Male and females are sexes, not genders.

Alternately, maybe this is how lesbians justify their hatred of transgenderoids.

Operation Choke Point

The Obama Administration has been abusing its power and targeting businesses that perform perfectly legal economic activity that the administration disfavors.

The enforcement program has a name – “Operation Chokepoint” – and as more details of the program become public, more concerns are raised.  The “chokepoint” in this operation is the nation’s payments infrastructure, the means by which merchants process nearly $5 trillion in consumer purchases in the U.S. each year.  Federal law enforcers are targeting merchant categories like payday lenders, ammunition and tobacco sales, and telemarketers – but not merely by pursuing those merchants directly.  Rather, Operation Chokepoint is flooding payments companies that provide processing service to those industries with subpoenas, civil investigative demands, and other burdensome and costly legal demands.

The theory behind this enforcement program has superficial logic: increase the legal and compliance costs of serving certain disfavored merchant categories, and payments companies will simply stop providing service to such merchants.

The really sad part is that this matters so little to so many. “This President is perfectly within his rights to use the power of Government any way he chooses,” his defenders will say. “So what, he evolved on gay marriage, so let him put some businesses under,” they’ll say.  Also, “You’re a racist for questioning anything this President does.”

Freedom, it was good while it lasted.

Demilitarizing the Federal Bureaucracy

Why is the US Postal Service stockpiling ammunition? Also, why is the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration stockpiling ammunition? And why is the Social Security Administration stockpiling ammunition?

Why does the EPA have SWAT Teams? And why does the Department of Education have SWAT Teams? And why do the Railroad Retirement Board, the Tennessee Valley Authority, the Office of Personnel Management, the Consumer Product Safety Commission, and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service all have SWAT Teams?

None of these bureaucracies are law enforcement agencies. It makes no sense for them to have armed, much less paramilitary, units.

A Republican (of course) Congressman from Utah is contemplating a bill to defund the paramilitary operations of regulatory bureaucracies. He will no doubt be attacked as a radical, extremist, Whackobird… because that’s what happens to anyone who proposes common sense reform measures these days.

Once Again… Oh, Good Lord

Some people have seriously too much time on their hands.

A library patron asked the [Toronto] library’s materials review committee to pull “Hop on Pop,” a children’s classic written in 1963, because of the book’s violent themes.

The patron recommended the book be removed, and requested the Toronto Public Library not only apologize to Greater Toronto Area fathers but pay damages resulting from the book’s violent message.

The library committee was also asked to remove a book about the Kennedy assassination because of its controversial thesis that JFK was shot by Lee Harvey Oswald.

In my entire life, I have never been moved to complain about a library book. What’s wrong with people?
