Gay Horse Owners Denied “Michael Sam moment”

May 17, 2014 by V the K

Kid Cruz did not win the Preakness; which spared America the sight of the two middle-aged gay dudes who own the horse going all Michael Sam in the winner’s circle.

Brandt, 56, and Boylan, 57, who live in St. Pete Beach, Fla., are partners in Vina Del Mar Thoroughbreds, a small stable. They married in Washington, D.C., in 2010 after a long relationship.

…

“I thought. ‘Well, I don’t know what I’m going to do if we win. I might kiss him, and the cameras will be there, and we’ll have our own Michael Sam moment. I can only hope.’ ”

What kind of hater is California Chrome anyways? how dare he beat that woman driven, gay owned 20-1 horse? I say the gay mafia needs to get on this right away.

It’s still, basically, a conservative country that we live in, no matter how hard Liberals try to pretend otherwise & push everyone’s buttons. Things take time. Especially, things that aren’t not traditional in the West. Fairness & the law are one thing. Social norms are another. Eventually, it will not be an issue, but until it is, there will be comment & controversy.

Really? You want to win the Preakness so you can publically kiss your mate and get a lot of media attention for doing so? REALLY??

@ Craig Smith: If it was me and my boyfriend, I would just hug him. Maybe a little peck on the lips, but not a full lip-lock like Michael Sam did.

I was thinking along similar lines, Sean L. That type of kiss would be more appropriate, the hypersensitive would still be be shocked, but most people would focus more on the horse race–which would be right.
