… the only belief system in America that sues to force the Government to impose it on everyone else is getting its own TV channel.
A New Jersey-based atheist group is starting the first on-demand TV channel dedicated to godlessness.
The Atheists claim their channel is necessary because — I am not making this up — Hollywood and the major media are too pro-Christian and the Atheists intend their channel as counter-programming against the endless championing of Christian morality on other news and entertainment networks.
Yup.
I am thinking of the potential programs for this station.
- Those Foolish Believers: Panel show on which all religion is mocked and ridiculed, except Islam, of course.
- Cross-Country: Reality Show: A group of atheist lawyers travel small town America looking for public displays of the cross and filing lawsuits to have them removed.
- Circle Jerk – News and Information: Richard Dawkins and a panel of Atheists discuss news of the day while congratulating each other on their lack of belief.
- It’s a Void and Meaningless Existence, Charlie Brown – Special Holiday Program in Honor of Madalyn Murray O’Hair’s Birthday
- The Smug Sense of Superiority Hour – with special guest Bill Maher
- And of course… there will be wholesome, atheist-style, family programming

And they’ll spend 99% of the time talking about… the Bible and Christianity.
Most of your activist atheists are really evangelistic Anti-theists.
Hmmm, I think I’m seeing a pattern.
I’ve spoken to some very nice atheists who despise the Richard Dawkins groupies, or atheistkultists, as they call them. The nice atheists see the atheistkultists as members of a non-theistic religion that owes much of its philosophy and worldview to Christian thinkers, hence their hostility towards Christianity: it is the most similar belief system to them, like Protestantism was initially to Catholicism.
Yeah, I never tire of the irony that some atheists have a religious devotion to their lack of religion.
But isn’t leftism also a “belief system in America that sues to force the Government to impose it on everyone else”? Islam is the same way; while it doesn’t have that big of a following in the US, Islam is Islam.
I would add that “nice atheists” tend not to accuse self-identified agnostics, Deists, philosophical pantheists, etc., of being weak-minded or indecisive wafflers who are too cowardly to use the word “atheist.”
But the atheistkultists tend to be Ultra-Orthodox and always on the lookout for heretics…
On-demand? This might be least subsribed program since ‘The Wide World of Drying Paint.’ If the creators really had balls, they’d pitch their show to Al-Jazeera America.
I say give them them their channel and let them unpreach their hearts out.
Eventually, it will all devolve into who is actually the politically correct authentic atheist and who is the lethargic atheist and who just doesn’t shiv a git.
Then the DemonizingRats can pander to atheist rights and the atheist community and atheist culture and the diversity of atheism and tolerance and social atheist engineering and atheist oppression and atheist arts and atheist free expression and atheist affirmative action and atheist sensitivity training and atheist representation and balance in ethics panels and atheist dietary needs and bodily functions and atheist literature and performance art and atheist friendly airbags in automobiles and atheist days at Disney World and atheist headstones in military cemeteries and atheist Muppets and atheist unchaplins in prisons and atheist bug sprays and
The nice atheists, like the nice gays, had better start speaking out much, much more loudly and forcefully than they have thus far, otherwise they are but gnats uselessly flying around the progressive cultural behemoth.
