Hillary Squirms on Gay Marriage Question

June 12, 2014 by V the K

Hillary was asked a straightforward question: You used to oppose gay marriage, now you favor it. Did you change your mind on the issue, or was your previous position just a politically expedient calculation at a time when gay marriage was less popular?

The exchange is here.  Long story short, Hillary dodged the question, and then went off on the host: “I think you are trying to say that I used to be opposed and now I am in favor and I did it for political reasons. And that’s just flat wrong.”

Some people can’t handle the truth very well.

Ace analyzes:

Hillary’s calculating, dishonest nature keeps her from answering this question straight — even if she lies about it straight.

She won’t say she changed her mind — because that would make her a Gay H8r at some point in the past.

She obviously won’t admit that she always had the same opinion and just lied about it.

She tries to have it both ways — she both always believed in gay marriage, but also didn’t lie when she said she didn’t.

I think what she really means is, “What difference does it make?”

I thought the general conclusion is that she is gay………….. and, her marriage is all for show.

I’d put a good chunk of change on that square.

Just like I would for B. “Dangerously Incompetent” Obama.
A sham marriage if there ever was one.

Well, when put on the spot with quotes that are easily brought up, she tries to have it both ways. On everything else. “I don’t recall.” “My memory is faulty.” “I’m not sure.” “What difference does it make?”

I weep for this nation that this horribly dishonest, coattail riding political hack is the front runner for the Democrat nomination, and stands a very good chance of getting it.

At least those on the right who shifted their positions can be honest and said they evolved on the issue.

I think most people wouldn’t believe the evolved excuse and the gay left is proving a dangerous enemy. So she is stuck trying to avoid looking like a liar.

Maybe she is just AC/DC in nearly all respects.

If her previous opposition to, and current support for, gay marriage was for political reasons, that means that she sees gays as nothing more than means to an end. As are all people, in the eyes of liberals.

Craig:” I weep for this nation that this horribly dishonest, coattail riding political hack is the front runner for the Democrat nomination, and stands a very good chance of getting it.” This is one great description of Hillary. She is an opportunist of the Nth degree with little or no talent.

It only makes her a Gay H8r in the past if one equates opposition to gay marriage with hatred of gays. Only the Gay Fascists do that.

Seems Mrs. Clinton, while on her book tour, will only entertain questions from reports that are “pre-screened”.

Where have we heard that before?

Gays love it when political use them for political purposes. It’s like crumbs for pigeons.
