Fitting

July 6, 2014 by V the K

One of the places being considered for the Barack Obama Presidential Library and Temple Complex is an abandoned industrial site that formerly hosted steel mills.

Symbolically, building a shrine to Obama atop a site that once employed tens of thousands of hard working Americans seems very fitting.

Indeed.

Nero constructed the Domus Aurea on the site of tenements that were burnt down in the Great Fire of Rome, tenements that, if the rumors are true, he burnt himself. We all know how that ended for him…

Quick frankly, I’d be happy to see us stop wasting taxpayers’ dollars on these “Presidential Libraries.”

    Let private charities take over.

I’d be even happier if we started this dream of mine with Obama’s library.

Yes, I know, it will never happen; but, let me dream . . .

Personally I think it should be in Levenworth. I’m sure that must be soe federal Statutes that he and his Illinois mafia has broken.

“Obamaville”? How long will it take for it to be like Chicago, Detroit, Oakland, Philadelphia, NYC or DC? Hey, everything should be FREE there, right? Oh, wait, they’d need either subsidies or “rich people” to rob and steal from to “equalize” things, right? I am sure everyone would have to have a “living wage” and it would be “environmentally friendly”. Can you just imagine the “Progressive utopia” this would be? I think it may be good for those to realize that it’s not just a money issue to make a community survive and thrive but I am sure the books would be cooked well done on this petri dish of a social experiment. I am amazed there are streets for cars…..I thought it would all be Segways, bicycles and eco friendly transportation devices. I’ve been by this site and it’s HUGE and would LOVE to see something done with it.
