Prolific Tipster Steve points to an article wherein progressives express their upset because the po-pos have shut down a website geared to facilitating prostitution. (No, it wasn’t Craigslist.) Seems they are mighty ticked off that The Man has made it harder for whores* to do their whorin’.
The FBI’s seizure of MyRedBook, one of the Bay Area’s most popular prostitution websites, and the heroin-overdose death of a Google executive in Santa Cruz, who was allegedly injected by a prostitute he hired on a “sugar daddy” website, has underscored the digital transformation of the world’s oldest profession.
But the change continues to fuel debate. While police have focused on shutting down the online flesh trade – or have used websites as entry points for undercover stings – some sex workers say they have found an avenue to do their job that is safer and more independent than the streets.
“Sex work” (the PC term for whorin’) is celebrated by the left as a form of feminist empowerment; because nothing says “feminism” like women selling their bodies to men for sex. And, of course, laws against prostitution are just a relic of the Oppressive White Patriarchy. After all, history has shown that societies can completely eliminate the concept of personal morality and suffer no ill consequences whatsoever.
[*”Whore” is the proper and accurate word here, but if that word offends you, just mentally substitute “Establishment GOP Senator.”]
