Up in America’s hat, a whining leftist named Joe Fiorito doesn’t like air shows; and he doesn’t think anyone else should be allowed to enjoy them either. Because he is a leftist, and thinks he knows what’s best for everyone.
It’s time to end the celebration of death and kill the airshow: Fiorito
The annual CNE spectacle amounts to a display of noisy voyeurism that has outlived its usefulness.
He sneers that people who enjoy air shows are of inferior intelligence to himself and his fellow smug leftists.
This is the sort of stuff that appeals to teenaged boys, or those who suffer from arrested development, but it sort of proves my point — the air show is not so much about flight prowess as it is about scaring the wits out of people who don’t have a lot of wit to spare; it also caters to the sort of people who gawk at traffic accidents, or the prospect of death.
And, of course, air shows “glorify war,” and that “makes him sick.”
A cute or clever name, until you are reminded that an ace is a fighter pilot credited with kills in battle. We’re not talking video game kills. We’re talking kills, as in death.
We celebrate that here now, do we?
Makes me sick.
Imagine what our entertainment options would be limited to if we were limited to those things leftist progressives approved of. Women’s basketball. World Cup Soccer. Christian-bashing art exhibits. Art-house films. Is that pretty much it?
