From Time via Weezy.

“Many in the LGBT community are lashing out at the NFL today, claiming homophobia. It’s understandable. Gay men have been told for decades they’re not good enough to play football, they’re not welcome in the locker rooms. Some of those messages have even reverberated in 2014. While the Rams’ decision wasn’t based on homophobia, it’s hard not to afford gay men a little foot-stomping at this latest rejection.”

So, what? The Rams should have kept him on the roster to keep gay people from stomping their pedicured little feet? When did “not hurting gay people’s feelers” become the most important goal in society?

I would also be interested to know exactly has been telling gay men they’re not good enough to play football. Is there a citation for this. or is it under the rubric of ‘things leftists believe which therefore must be true?’  There have probably always been gheys playing football at the college and professional level. Michael Sam was the first one to make a big deal out of it.

Aw, Jeez, They’re at it Again

A group of people who could be easily replaced by machines, accompanied by paid labor union goons, are planning a nationwide strike on Thursday in an effort to unionize fast food employees and demand $15.00 an hour for the hard work of asking if a customer would like a combo meal.

Progressivism in action. You want more money? Forget about developing more valuable skills or a better work ethic. Just throw a tantrum until some politician forces other people to pay you more.

Obama Finally Finds a Law He Agrees With

Obama finally agrees to follow the law… when it’s a Mexican law.

The White House has responded to a popular petition that demands the release of U.S. Marine Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi from a Mexican prison, explaining that the Obama administration respects the rule of law and will continue to monitor the situation to make sure the soldier is treated fairly.

More than 134,000 people signed a petition on the White House’s “We the People” website asking the president to demand the release of Sgt. Tahmooressi, who was imprisoned nearly five months ago for illegally crossing from California into Mexico with three firearms in his truck. The Marine maintains that he crossed the border by accident after making a wrong turn on his way to meet a friend. He faces up to 14 years in prison if convicted.

“As in all cases when a U.S. citizen is arrested overseas, our goal is to see that Mr. Tahmooressi is treated fairly during the judicial process with the hope that he can receive the support, both emotional and medical, that he may require now and at the conclusion of the proceedings,” the White House said in an official response Friday.

I can’t imagine Vladimir Putin letting a Russian soldier rot in a foreign jail on trumped-up charges.
