Male Feminists Make It Hard For Other People to Take Them Seriously

October 2, 2014 by V the K

A male feminist Huffington Post writer had a complete meltdown because Julia Pierson resigned as head of the Secret Service after a series of incidents such as letting a guy jump the fence and make it all the way into the White House and letting the president share an elevator with a criminal who was carrying a gun.

If Julia Pierson is the only one to lose her job over the Secret Service scandal, I’m gonna be pissed. This strikes me as a sexist solution.

— Charles Clymer (@cmclymer) October 1, 2014

Now, granted, the USSS’s problem wasn’t that it was run by a woman, per se, but that it is a huge overfunded Government bureaucracy and part of the Federal culture of rewarding incompetence: See also, the EPA employee who spent his entire workday watching porn on Government computers and is still drawing a taxpayer-provided paycheck. But Clymer, being a progressive, cannot offer a critique of bureaucratic centralized Government because progressivism teaches that all-powerful Government is the solution to all problems. So, if a woman fails, it must be the fault of male privilege and the oppressive patriarchy of the penis-bearers.

How wonderful it must be to go through life believing all your accomplishments are solely based on merit and not on having a penis.

Maybe he’ll feel better after putting on some lavender-scented candles, taking a long hot bath, and binge-watching Girls while eating Ben & Jerry’s directly out of the container.

And then there’s this guy….

I think Michelle went ballistic over the combination of the WH intruder and the elevator incident and ordered her husband to throw someone, anyone, under the bus. In light of the nearly unprecedented bipartisan howling on the Hill, who better to toss than Julia (don’t cha just love the irony of her name?).

I think the Steve that seduces drunk str8 boys by the railroad tracks converted him.

Trey Growdy gave the SS woman a serious spanking, he spent 10 min explaining to her that she was not answering the question he was asking but the question she wanted to hear.

I think Mary @2 is right – someone had to go under the Obama Express.

I have no idea whether Pierson was competent in her post (she served three previous presidents on their SS details) and I suspect she’s the sacrificial lamb.

This Clymer guy is silly – assuming he’s straight, someone should ask him if his “male feminist” schtick gets him any action.

Progressives seem to believe that superficial self-loathing is all that’s needed to solve any problem. Look at “climate change”: I hate myself for being a profligate westerner with indoor plumbing, ample food, and air-conditioning but damned if I’ll do without.

This man is an Army Vet.

Holding a coffee cup while saluting military personal is somehow an egregious insult and disrespectful of military personal.

However, the comments aimed at this man are somehow completely acceptable.

This is why no one, NO ONE takes you seriously.
This is why no one, NO ONE actually takes your faux patriotism as real patriotism.
This is why no one, NO ONE believes that you aren’t rabid women haters.

Dear James, here are some quotes from Mr. Clymer:

“If you come at me like, ‘I think it’s wrong a man is leading a women’s group,’ I’m going to ban you. I think it’s an abusive remark.” -Charles Clymer, responding to criticism of deleting comments and blocking women from his Facebook page “Equality for Women” for challenging him

“I’m in it somewhat for my ego and personal gain. I’m looking at this as a career.” -Charles Clymer, confessing that he is a feminist to make a buck, not because he really cares about women

“…I do want to make a name for myself, but 80 percent of it is for the cause.” -Charles Clymer

“You want to talk about privilege? Fine, we’ll talk about privilege. What about your stupid privilege?” -Charles Clymer, to Stephanie Kay

“Please accept my invitation of hide-and-go-f**k-yourself.” -Charles Clymer, to Stephanie Kay

Charles Clymer is a sociopath and an egoist who portrays himself as a male feminist to make money, improve his prestige, hit on women with impunity, and as cover to attack women who question him and call him out on his actions.

I’m going to assume that you did not know this, in which case you probably feel rather stupid right now, or you knew this, in which case you are supportive of his actions. Pick your poison, James.

I await your foaming-mouthed reply with relish.

Holding a coffee cup while saluting military personal is somehow an egregious insult and disrespectful of military personal.

However, the comments aimed at this man are somehow completely acceptable.

So… how stupid do you have to be to think those two things are remotely comparable?

The implication is “If you ever criticize the Commander-in-Chief for showing disrespect to the military, then you are never allowed to ever criticize anyone who ever was in the military regardless of how much of jackass they turn out to be in civilian life.”

    The question answers itself.

“Holding a coffee cup while saluting military personal is somehow an egregious insult and disrespectful of military personal.”

    Fixed for accuracy.

A salute in the military is a sign of respect, and the return salute–done properly–is a sign of mutual respect toward the one rendering it.

Somehow I doubt you’d understand this, however.

  15. Paul says

    October 2, 2014 at 10:50 pm - October 2, 2014

The President is supposed to be a civilian, so I honestly don’t care whether or not he salutes. I actually prefer if he didn’t salute at all. I’d rather us not look like a Latin American military dictatorship.

But back to the subject of Clymer…it doesn’t surprise me that he’s in this for the attention. He’s way too cartoonish to be taken seriously.

  16. Sean L says

    October 2, 2014 at 11:08 pm - October 2, 2014

@ Paul: He says he was a “cadet/soldier” for six years, before he was “retired due to medical problems.” He does not elaborate on what his duties were, what his final rank was, nothing. He’s rather vague about it.

I know there are guys in the military who willingly admit that they see themselves as mercenaries, only in it for the benefits (yeah, about that…). Given Clymer’s apparent view of feminism as nothing but a means to his desired end of money, women, and power, I wouldn’t be surprise if he slummed around in a low-level desk-jockey job for six years to say “I was in the Army for six years” and get a pension.

BTW, I LOLed hardcore at this:

“Maybe he’ll feel better after putting on some lavender-scented candles, taking a long hot bath, and binge-watching Girls while eating Ben & Jerry’s directly out of the container.”

This describes male feminists to a perfect T.

What the heck is that? I have never heard a veteran describe himself as a “cadet/soldier”.

    “retired due to medical problems.”

    Mental health issues?

    “He’s rather vague about it.”

Maybe because he was never actually in the military? Or never finished basic? Or was quickly eased out due to competency/sanity/discipline problems?

@ pst314: If his behavior is any indication, I wouldn’t not be surprised if he got discharged for mental health issues. The guy seems like a grade-A sociopath.

Some feminists swoon over the fact that he lets his girlfriend buy him flowers and shower him with gifts. I say, “Sounds like a manipulative SOB to me.”

The fact that James has not (yet) responded is quite satisfying. Did he really think that “HE WAS IN THE MILITARY” would be enough to deter me from having a go at the guy? And did he really take the man at his own words and not do his own digging?

The truly amazing thing about you lot is you have these truly misogynistic and down right anti-women attitudes and then when women don’t vote for republicans, you dismiss it as “women want the government as their sugar daddy’s”

The whole “respecting our military” is just a political game. You don’t support our troops and you sure as hell don’t respect them as evident by these attacks on this solider.

  26. Sean L says

Rather weak, as far as your comments go, James. And you’re completely avoiding the inconvenient truths raised about Mr. Clymer. I’ll assume you concede defeat. Now run along until the next time you feel the need to insert both feet in your mouth.

Which is, of course, why you and your fellow Obama Party members not only supported sexual harasser Bob Filner, but actually covered up for him for years.

The whole “respecting our military” is just a political game. You don’t support our troops and you sure as hell don’t respect them as evident by these attacks on this solider.

Which is, of course, why you and your fellow Obama supporters, including Nancy Pelosi, call US soldiers “uninvited and unwelcome intruders”.

We have facts, James Edward. You have nothing but bluster and lies, as will be quite nicely shown by your vanishing and refusing to confront these links.

But we understand that. You are nothing more than a feral animal, uneducated and incapable of coping with civilization, due to the racist liberal parents and racist liberal education system that refused to demand any better of you. And frankly, any women who vote Democrat when there are such clear examples of how Democrat males like you support and protect sexual harassers really doesn’t want anything but a government sugar daddy.
