And flipped a district that had been Democrat Blue for 70 years. [HT: AOSHQ]
Also, a deranged lib on Alternet is describing the election in terms of “bullies” who are apparently beating up America and taking its lunch money.
In North Carolina, “consummate bully” Tom Tillis apparently beat up Kay Hagan and took away her senate seat. How mean, rotten and nasty is Tillis? He’s “the kind of man who allegedly shot paintballs at his neighbor’s barn.” [shudder!] She quoted approvingly an appraisal of Tillis in which he, “repeatedly failed his constituents by undermining public education, healthcare, labor rights, women’s rights, LGBT rights, immigrants’ rights, voting rights, and the environment.” When does that man sleep?
And Tillis “will now take his bare-knuckles brand of politics to Washington.” Lock up your daughters.
Tillis isn’t the only one. “In Michigan, Republican governor Rick Snyder, the bully-extraordinaire who has devoted himself to union-crushing, was re-elected,” Parramore moaned.
I like this guy. He talks like I would.
No nonsense, let’s get this straight and simple and really represent our constituents.
I would love to meet him.
Wow. Some people just refuse to get it, that cutting excess government is good and helpful for people.
Bullies? They have a nerve. Who was it that imposed a govt overreach of a mandate to buy health insurance on the country & half the country that opposed it (at least)? Who is bullying to states to accept non-traditional marriage definitions? The list of lies & impositions is extensive.

I get tired of the abuse of the word “bully”. When I was growing up, a bully was someone who used physical force or the threat of physical force to get their way. And believe me, I know, since I was bullied in high school.
Nowadays, harassment is called bullying. Poking fun is called bullying. Insulting is called bullying.
It cheapens the word, and I think it is intentional.
Your are correct in many ways; but at the same time, some of the same things were once said about sexual harassment. Really, what is wrong with saying “you look hot in that dress” to a woman? Or giving her a pinch on the buttocks? Or telling p*ssy jokes in the break room?
I think we are evolving about what constitutes “bullying” behavior, but there should be definable standards about what is and is not said behavior. Personally, I like Greg Gutfeld’s reaction when he talks about always hearing about people who were bullied but little or nothing about people who were themselves bullies: you can’t have one without the other and any discussion should include people on both sides (who, of course, are often one and the same).
Okay, I was a bully in grade school. I used to beat up a skinny kid at recess, who knows why. But I didn’t stop… until he hit me back. The End.
