The Most Bitterest Loser of All

November 6, 2014 by V the K

Not Michael Moore… although his butthurt is, of course, epic. It’s not Tom Steyer, who spent $70M+ to buy the senate and failed. It’s not MSDNC… though their butthurt is also pretty epic, and the rest of the fossil leftist press is also stewing in butthurt.  It’s not the Maryland Democrat Party, who got served.  Or even the national Democrat Party.

No, the most bitter person of the post-election is His Majesty, Barack Hussein Obama. In his post-election press conference yesterday, the president was bitter, snarky, and at times, openly hostile...especially when reporters suggested that he ought to try and work with Republicans.

His Majesty’s response: NFW.

There seems to be precious little chance for any substantive accomplishments over the next two years. The president has demonstrated repeatedly that he is not a partner with which negotiation, short of McConnell-esque abject surrender, is possible. He seems interested in setting up a series of fights with the GOP in order to prepare the ground for the 2016 elections.

You would think after all that time at the Chicago bath houses he would be immune to but hurt. Seems like he is on a mission to destroy the race card.

His problem is he doesn’t know when to shut up. It would have been better to lay low for a few days, answering the odd questions here & there by reporters with the standard, “the voters have spoken”, left it at that & went about his business.
But no, he has to continue his over-exposure thinking everyone wants to hear from him, see him. Typical narcissistic behavior.

So, BHO reminds us that’s he a megalomaniac (and an ass) as if we need reminding.

But the real issue is whether or not the GOP will step up to the plate or do its usual cowering in the back.

Within 24 hours of the election, Mitch McConnell told the world that, among other things, a government “shutdown” was off the table.

So we criticize BHO for telling the enemy what we’re not willing to do yet, lo and behold, the presumptive leader of the Senate tells the other side what we’re not willing to do.

The next couple of years will be fraught with danger.

It would be so refreshing to hear at least ONE Dem say, “We lost. We need to re-think. We’ll try harder to win the trust of Americans with our policies.” They are merely compounding their loss by whining and making excuses. Who will vote for a whining excuse maker in the future? We’ve already had enough of that, thanks.

Actually, the biggest loser is Governor Pat Quinn. On Tuesday night, when Illinois was called for Governor-Elect Bruce Rauner, Quinn refused to concede, saying that there were still “outstanding precincts” left to be counted, even though said totals wouldn’t make up the gap necessary to defeat Rauner.

Yesterday afternoon, Quinn finally swallows his pride and concedes…barely. However, as of today, he STILL has not formally called Rauner to concede and congratulate him on winning. Hell, they haven’t even talked about the transitioning process yet.

Of all the victories Tuesday night, three of them made me the happiest:

    1. My favorite Governor, Scott Walker, won handily
    2. Marijuana measures won
    3. That douchewad Pat Quinn was defeated by Bruce Rauner
