Modest Proposals for the Advancement of the Womenfolk

November 14, 2014 by V the K

Despite fifty or so years of ‘Women’s Liberation,’ apparently women have never had it worse in America. The White House claims that women only make 77 cents for every dollar men make. Feminists claim that 1 out of every 4 women who go to college get raped.  It’s just awful being a woman in the United States. But, fortunately, there are a couple of ways of fixing it.

First, the wage gap.

“Every reputable study suggests that working age women earn less than men mostly due to the choices women make in their careers. The scientists know this, the economists know this – even the White House knows this. And so I humbly present my own proposal for closing the gender wage gap, which I hope will not only solve the problem but also satisfy voices on all sides of the argument. As a society, we must begin telling women what subjects they can major in, what colleges they can attend, and what jobs they can take.”– Ashe Schow in A Modest Proposal For Closing The Gender Wage Gap

Now, that problem of rape and whatall.

I’m beginning to believe that women are just too fragile to handle a college environment. Perhaps they should be kept at home until they marry, or at most sent to single-sex finishing schools.

The adage of letting a baby cry itself to sleep or cry until it stops, needs to be remembered & applied to college girls & boys who are each not far removed from infancy.
That said, this post is a hoot if one thinks about it all in the context of all sorts of serious groups trying to figure out how to handle their little college princesses who are out for the first time in the big wide world. It’s so tempting to say something really cruel.

On the wage gap, it’s even worse than you think. The gap exists not just because of the choices women make, but because women have choices that men don’t have, like taking six months off to have a baby or working part time because their partner brings home most of the bacon. But they’re still, somehow, oppressed.

My idea for protecting women is to permit them to be armed. Add a few days of basic gun safety to the indoctrination week
