What Do Polar Bears and Congressional Republicans Have in Common?

Read the article. Then, you tell me.

It’s already been shown that the sex organs of polar bears have been shrinking over time, and now it seems that the bones inside their penises are growing weaker as well.

So, somewhere on Earth, someone has ‘Polar Bear Pecker Checker’ on his resume.

Republican remarks on lack of civility in the workplace; is immediately attacked as fanatical moralist

Mike Huckabee said it was “trashy” to throw the f-word around in a professional business environment and the blogosphere, both left and right, has picked this as the “Really Ridiculous Thing to Get Outraged Over” for today.

“In a business meeting … in Iowa, you would not have people who would just throw the f-bomb and use gratuitous profanity in a professional setting,” Huckabee said. “In New York, not only do the men do it, but the women do it!””This is worse than locker-room talk,” Huckabee added. “This would be considered totally inappropriate to say these things in front of a woman and for a woman to say them in a professional setting. … As we would say in the South: ‘That’s just trashy.'”

I don’t care for Mike Huckabee, and I strongly oppose his presidential aspirations. But this seems like a really silly thing to go nanners about. For Set’s sake, he expressed an opinion about vulgarity, he didn’t propose to outlaw speech he found offensive (like a leftist would do).

FWIW I think the world would be a better place without people using the f-word in its various forms as rhetorical punctuation; I agree that such use marks one as trashy, whether man or woman.

French Gays Wise Up, Turn to the Right

French gays have begun abandoning the socialist left in favor of the far right National Front party, mainly out of enlightened self-interest.

An insight into the phenomenon comes from Patrick McCarthy, a young gay blogger who lives in Bordeaux. ‘Up until 2005, Bordeaux was a very gay-friendly city,’ he says. ‘Same-sex couples could openly walk down the street holding hands without any problems. However, in the space of two months, five gay men were murdered in the city. The blame was put on Bordeaux’s Muslim community since some of these hate crimes were carried out by people of Arabic origins.’

French gays have come to realize two very important things: 1. The Right is not a threat to them, 2. The Left will do absolutely nothing to protect them from violent Mohammedans.

Maybe someday American gays will wise up and realize that the Christian Right boogeyman the left uses to scare them into voting Democrat is likewise no threat to them; and they will realize the Left’s policies are far more harmful.

Obama Backs Off on One Middle Class Tax Hike

Emperor Obama has quietly dropped one aspect of his scheme to supply the parasitic dolts of the Democrat base with another freebie (free community college) by taking money away from 529 college savings accounts, which are used primarily by middle class families to save for college.

In short, Obama’s scheme was to penalize people who had done the responsible thing by putting money aside to pay for college, and use the money he took from them to provide “free” college for people who were too irresponsible to save for college, but who would vote for him out of gratitude for their free stuff. But that scheme was too Marxist even for some Democrats, if you can believe that.

A brilliant encapsulation of all Democrat economic policy.

It amused me that Obama presented his scheme in the form of, “If you work hard, you shouldn’t have to pay for college.” His definition of ‘working hard’ was just maintaining a C average in community college; which I don’t think is what most people would consider hard work. It is very indicative of his mindset that being a C-student at community college qualifies as ‘hard work.’

Scott Walker Is Doomed

I really like Scott Walker, the courageous Republican Governor of Wisconsin, who has won three elections despite the Democrat left throwing everything in their arsenal against him … massive amounts of union money, a viciously hostile media, protests by parasitic rabble with nothing better to do, lawfare, politically motivated witch hunts and harassment of his supporters, and death threats against his children… and still prevailed.

And the mere fact that I like him proves to me that his potential 2016 candidacy is doomed from the get-go, because in 2012 I liked Tim Pawlenty, and in 2008 I liked Anybody But McCain. The fix is is in. The Establishment wants Jeb, and he will shoved down our throats, and we will be told to shut up and vote for him because if we don’t, Hillary will win. And it is very important to the Establishment that Republicans be in charge of implementing the Democrat agenda of amnesty, Obamacare, and the massive expansion of the progressive welfare state.

Anyway, here’s Scott Walker at that thing that happened in Iowa last weekend.  I like the way he talks like someone who actually understands the middle class in America; and doesn’t just see them as people he can wave to from his limousine while chuckling with his cronies at the US Chamber of Commerce that US workers are too lazy and expensive and need to be replaced with cheap foreigners.

And here is a campaign poster that makes me think, “Oh, if only…”
