College Closed Due to Racism Hoax

I’m going to go out on a limb here and predict that the person who did this will turn out to be either a racial minority or a white, left-wing SJW.
According to NBC Connecticut, Connecticut College administrators were notified Sunday afternoon of the phrase “no n*****s” sprawled in a student center bathroom. By Sunday evening, school officials said the graffiti had been removed, and the school would remain closed on Monday while an investigation is underway.

“We must take action immediately to expose and eradicate this ignorance and hatred. I have decided to cancel tomorrow’s classes to ensure these events receive the proper attention.” Tweet This

“We must take action immediately to expose and eradicate this ignorance and hatred,” Connecticut College President Katherine Bergeron said in an email to all students Sunday evening. “I have decided to cancel tomorrow’s classes to ensure these events receive the proper attention.”

Isn’t it interesting how the ginned-up outrage over Indiana’s Religious Freedom Law has completely driven coverage of Hillary’s email scandal and Obama’s “Neville Chamberlain Goes to Teheran” Act out of the news?

VA Spent $288,000 to Move Bureaucrat While Vets Died

This is exactly how socialized health care works in the real world.  Bureaucrats spend money on themselves; f— the sick people.

The inspector general of the Department of Veterans Affairs has opened an investigation into why the director of the Philadelphia regional benefits office was given a $288,000 “relocation payment” to move from Washington, D.C. last year.

Diana Rubens was awarded that hefty sum to make the 140-mile move from her previous job in Washington, D.C. where she served as the agency’s deputy undersecretary for field operations.

Here’s a picture of the bureaucrat who required 5x the median American income to move 140 miles.

The Left’s Real Outrage Over a Faux Cause

As Gabriel Malor explains, Indiana’s Religious Freedom Law does not legalize … much less mandate… discrimination against gay people. It merely makes Religious Conscience an available legal defense. It does not make it legal to discriminate against gays any more than the existence of Self-Defense as a legal defense make it legal to randomly kill people… despite the rantings of celebrity idiots like Cher and Sally Kohn (who continue in their endless rivalry to claim the title of #DumbestWomanOnTwitter.)  Not to mention the gay CEO of Apple sanctimoniously postures against “religious discrimination” while happily opening Apple stores in Saudi Arabia.  Or the Democrat Governor of Connecticut banning travel to Indiana for having exactly the same Religious Freedom Law that Connecticut has.

If the Democrat Left is really sincere about this, how about a push to repeal the Federal Freedom of Religion Act… which was signed by Democrat President Bill Clinton in 1993.

Raise your hand if you think the whole #BoycottIndiana thing is more about professional activists who have to keep the outrage flowing or else they have to find real jobs than it is about any actual discrimination.

The Left and Mr. Godwin

An Obama administration official says that elected officials in Indiana — who passed a Religious Freedom Restoration Law virtually identical to laws on the books in 19 states AND a Federal law signed by BJ Clinton — are Nazis.  (Hat Tip: Sooper Mexican)

Interesting implied threat at the end there, isn’t it?

This is the same whiny, six-figure bureaucrat who whined about her paycheck being delayed during the “Government Shutdown” of 2013.

Double Standards Much?

So, Ted Cruz’s wife leaves her job so she can support his presidential bid and, as required by the law, Ted Cruz signs up for Obamacare. Note: He could have just used the exemption that Congress and the Obama Administration carved out for themselves, but he decided to follow the law like American citizens are required to do.

The Democrat left went crazy attacking him for this. (Warning: MSDNC Link: Annoying autoplay)

Meanwhile, it’s revealed that not only did Hillary Clinton illegally use a private email server to conduct Government business, she also apparently wiped it clean to … let’s be honest about this… prevent anyone from accessing evidence that she was illegally taking money (bribes) from foreign Governments and mishandling classified documents.

And the Democrat left defends her.

Basically, this reflects the fact that lawlessness has become that stand operating procedure of the Democrat Party. Obamacare – passed with underhanded legislative trickery. Executive Amnesty – Obama simply negates laws he doesn’t agree with. Deal to Protect Iran’s Nuclear Development Program – Congress bypassed entirely. Net Neutrality. IRS abuse. Fast and Furious. Tax cheating by Charlie Rangel and Tim Geithner. Examples of Democrat Lawlessness are endless.

But Republicans are not only held to an absolute standard of compliance, they are attacked even when they obey the law.

Remember the d-bag who made a YouTube video of himself berating a Chik-Fil-A employee because he disagreed with the owner of the chain’s support for traditional marriage? Thinking it would make him a big hero with the social left? He’s unemployed and living in an RV.

Adam Smith, 37, was the CFO of a medical device manufacturer in Arizona until the summer of 2012, when he started protested Chick-fil-A’s stance on gay marriage to an employee at a drive-thru.

“Chick-fil-A is a hateful company,” Smith told the employee. “I don’t know how you sleep at night,” Smith adds at another point. This is a horrible corporation with horrible values.”

After the employee, who never loses her composure, wished Smith a nice day, he responded, “I will. I just did something really good. I feel purposeful.”

Since then, Smith was fired from his job, and his wife and four children lost their home. The family was forced to sell and give away their possessions and move into an RV. He is now on food stamps, he says.

I feel sorry for his wife and kids.

Why haven’t his fellow SJW’s embraced him and supported him in his time of need? He was standing up for their cause, and none of them were willing to help him out? Sheesh, I guess they are too busy worrying about heteronormative microaggression triggers to help a brother out.

It’s Just a Bad Movie, Get Over It

To the neurotically hypersensitive and perpetually indignant people who now determine what is offensive, it is now “homophobic” to suggest that straight men have no interest in performing oral sex on other men.

Get Hard, a comedy starring Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart and released in UK cinemas on Saturday, follows a disgraced investment banker who is headed to prison in 30 days and enlists the help of a car-washer to help him prepare. What follows is 90 minutes of farcical comedy, built mainly around Ferrell’s fear of being raped while in prison and a general disgust at the concept of gay sex.

LGBT charity Stonewall also condemned the content in films such as Get Hard as damaging. “Homophobic, biphobic and transphobic language is endemic in Britain, particularly within our schools,” it said in a statement. “This kind of ‘banter’ that people see in Hollywood films and on-screen perpetuates the idea that this kind of language is acceptable.”

The scene that seems to have their panties in a wad is one in which Will Ferrell is compelled to perform oral sex in a glory-hole scenario and is revolted by the prospect; which I guess is hateful to gay people. Although it is what we in the real world would call ‘normal.’

I am sure the movie is awful, but it’s kind of funny how Christians are expected to put up with constant and direct attacks from Hollywood, but gays are supposed to be outraged at anything other than a celebratory portrayal.

Frankly, all this whining makes gays look like a bunch of pansies.

Believe it or not, Gay Lefties Are Angry About Something

Man, some queens sure do get bitter and pissy when told the State won’t force Christians to bow down and serve them. Here’s a bit from a very, very angry article some lefty named Arthur Chu wrote for the liberal Daily Beast with the title “Gay Money Is No Good in Indiana” under the subhead “Bigots Vs. Business.” (Hat Tip: Newsbusters)

Indiana’s legislature has made pretty clear that for them “values” trump economics to the point of turning away paying customers en masse if they have the wrong sexuality, to the point of driving business out of their state. And Indiana is only doing on a small scale what Russia has done on a grand scale, to the point of threatening their ability to keep the Sochi Olympics in 2013.

Indiana is Russia. That’s a bit of a stretch, even for the most devoted lefty drama queen.

It’s not enough for the Gay Left to have legal gay marriage; their victory isn’t complete until they can force non-supporters into celebrating with them. To quote that great political sage, Gul Dukat: “A true victory is to make your enemy see they were wrong to oppose you in the first place. To force them to acknowledge your greatness.”

Gay Men No Longer Allowed to Emulate Strong Black Women

I sort of blogged about this a few days ago, but apparently, it’s now the rule in the UK.

The motion passed by the union (which is comprised of more than 600 student groups around the UK) titled “Dear White Gay Men: Stop Approprirating [sic] Black Women” states that the behavior of white gay men is “unacceptable” and “must be addressed.”

“This may be manifested in the emulation of the mannerisms, language (particularly AAVE- African American Vernacular English) and phrases that can be attributed to black women. White gay men may often assert that they are ‘strong black women’ or have an ‘inner black woman’,” the NUS motion reads.

“White gay men are the dominant demographic within the LGBT community, and they benefit from both white privilege and male privilege.”

This will probably be the law in California soon. I mean, they passed that “it’s rape unless you have a signed, notarized permission slip” law.

Next they’ll be demanding their own drinking fountains.

Minorities want to create their own “No Whites Allowed” spaces. Apparently, segregation is the new Civil Right.

A Huffington Post article titled, ‘Ethnic Minorities Deserve Safe Spaces Without White People’.

The author, Aeman Ansari, argues that ethnic minorities have a right to claim public spaces to “share stories about discrimination without judgement and intrusion,” that is, judgement and intrusion by white people. She goes on that many students at Ryerson have experienced racism and that these spaces act as a forum where the ethnic students are protected from stereotypes and marginalization.  Furthermore, she states that this is crucial in order to resist oppression.

I picture Ms Ansari standing outside a Black-Only student lounge shouting, “Segregation Now, Segregation Forever.”

I kind of thought there already were public spaces that had been entirely claimed by blacks from which Whites were excluded; the city of Detroit, for example.

Once Again, Feminists Obsess Over Clothing and Wonder Why No One Takes Them Seriously

An angry Lesbian Feminist (is there any other kind) is outraged because… among other things… feminine heterosexual women should not be allowed to dress like Diesel Dykes! (Warning: the Story is at NRO, so prepare for ads to take over your browser.)

The columnist, named Sophie Wilkinson, describes the trend of what she calls “unisex style” as a new thing, blaming the “high-street ubiquity of unisex outfitters such as American Apparel and Uniqlo and the androgynous cuts of Scandinavian shops like Cos.”

“What was once a queer-owned style has shifted to the mainstream, being appropriated by straight women to the point that it’s now impossible to infer a sexual orientation from the way a woman dresses,” Wilkinson writes in a piece titled “Butch chic: how the gender-neutral trend has ruined my wardrobe.”

According to Wilkinson, examples of this “butch chic” style include printed T-shirts, “skirts without peplums or lace,” torn vests “riot grrrl boots,” and, in general, outfits where “functionality takes precedence.”

I’m sorry… but how is that any more of a “cultural appropriation” than white feminists using “jazz hands?”

Kind of reminds me when feminists got their panties in a wad because a scientist who had just landed a  friggin’ space probe on a friggin’ comet, wore a shirt they didn’t like. (Sigh) Feminists, if they aren’t talking about clothes, they’re melodramatically throwing themselves on the fainting couch because some guy traumatized their feels with his insensitive words and opinions.

(Once Again) Obama Helps Big Corporations Screw American Workers

While everyone was distracted talking about the First Lady’s hairdo, the Obama Administration quietly took some ‘Executive Action’ to help large corporations replace American workers with cheap foreign labor.

Obama intends to make it easier to bring more foreign guest workers to the United States — likely at significant cost to workers already here — by loosening the rules governing something known as the L-1B visa program. Under the program, a multinational company with offices in the United States can move workers from abroad to live and work in the U.S. for as long as five years in what is known as an intra-company transfer. There are almost no rules concerning what those workers can be paid, so there is no barrier to a company firing American employees and bringing in workers from foreign facilities to replace them at much lower pay.

Where in the hell did anyone get the idea that the Democrat Party was the friend of the working man (and woman)?

Indiana Stands for Freedom

Indiana has passed a religious freedom bill to guarantee that business owners have as much right to choose with whom to do business as their customers do.

In a statement, Pence said the bill “is about respecting and reassuring Hoosiers that their religious freedoms are intact. I strongly support the legislation and applaud the members of the General Assembly for their work on this important issue.”

Proponents have argued the bill doesn’t target gays and lesbians specifically — but that it does protect businesses that don’t support same-sex marriage from having to provide services for those ceremonies.

Which is as it should be.

If the wedding cake fascists on the left don’t like that such-and-such a business does not wish to service such-and-such a customer, then they have the option of not using that business, and encouraging others not to as well.

You either believe in freedom or you don’t; and freedom means that sometimes you have to tolerate people having the right to make choices you don’t agree with.

Should a Jewish bakery be forced by the State to bake this cake?

Should a Jewish bakery be forced by the State to bake this cake?

By the way, the left still supports and encourages state-sanctioned discrimination against Christians.

Christian Throws Molotov Cocktail at Gay Pride Marchers

If that were the actual headline, I betcha this story would be getting a lot more coverage. The real headline and story: “Planned Parenthood Supporter Throws Molotov Cocktail at Pro-Life Prayer Group Outside Abortion Clinic.”

While local media has been pretty straight up on the issue, MSM is underway to try to obscure the intent of the woman who threw a molotov cocktail outside of a Planned Parenthood in Austin, Texas, many reporting it simply as an attack at a Planned Parenthood, leaving the impression it is an anti-abortion protester.

The woman also apparently testified in support of abortion mills during Wendy Davis’s filibuster. Ain’t that special?

Men Need to Touch Boys More, says Out-of-Touch Lefty

I don’t Mark Greene is, and the website where this story appears does not offer any biographical information. All I know about him is 1. He doesn’t think men touch boys or other men enough and 2. He blames No. 1 on “homophobic fanatics who police lesbians and gays in our society” (emphasis in original). So, I’m gonna venture a guess on where he comes from, socio-politically speaking.

In America in particular, if a young man attempts gentle platonic contact with another young man, he faces a very real risk of homophobic backlash either by that person or by those who witness the contact. This is, in part, because we frame all contact by men as being intentionally sexual until proven otherwise. Couple this with the homophobia that runs rampant in our culture, and you get a recipe for increased touch isolation that damages the lives of the vast majority of men.

Here’s where Mr. Green is out-of-touch: I actually see quite a lot of familiar, non-sexual touching going on between men; hugs, back slaps, hand shakes, arms-around-the-shoulder. I see it quite often, and in two venues in particular. 1. Sports, at all levels. 2. Church. I am guessing Mr. Greene would rank both sports and church among the worst places in America for the “rampant homophobia” he claims prevents dudes from engaging in “platonic touching.” Has it occurred to him that it’s people in his own Ivory Tower of Academia who are averse physical contact?

Also, I can’t help but notice that he uses antique photographs of men in physical contact with each other to illustrate his point that such things used to be okay before our culture became “rampantly homophobic.” Is he really claiming society was less homophobic a hundred years ago?

Is this real? This can’t be real. No, this can’t be real. I refuse to believe that this is real. Not even gay lefties can be this creepy and deranged. This seems like something a serial killer would do, as one commenter put it.

It’s the “the world’s first and only gay object.”

Meet the Gay Sweater, an apparel item knitted from the hairs of more than 100 LGBT kids.

I also don’t think it was the world’s first gay object. It was preceded by, among other things: the Princess Phone, Doc Martens, the Water Tower at Eastern Michigan University, Zima, and the Mazda Miata.

The feminist left descends beyond self-parody.

“Triggering” has become the all-purpose left-wing tool for censoring opinions leftists don’t like on the basis that expressing such opinions produce badfeels.

If these dames can’t handle the stress of interacting with the real world, they should just stay home and knit. Or iron, I got a whole pile of shirts they could get started on.

BTW: This same group of uber-feminists is demanding that white gay men stop acting like Black women. So, knock it off, you guys.
