Dan Savage, Classy As Ever

Ben Carson … auditioning to be the Herman Cain of 2016… said something Todd Akin-worthy on CNN recently.

When Carson was asked by Chris Cuomo whether being gay is a choice, he replied: “Absolutely.”

“Because a lot of people who go into prison go into prison straight — and when they come out, they’re gay. So, did something happen while they were in there? Ask yourself that question,” Carson said.

That was a bad answer, and most people would recognize that. And a person of decency and intelligence might respond to his statement by refuting it with logic and reason, by pointing out the myriad flaws in his analogy.

But Dan Savage is not a decent person, and he is not a particularly intelligent person. He is a crude, hate-filled progressive leftist, and he responded in the manner of a crude, hate-filled progressive leftist.

Lefties, squaring the circle on Ferguson

According to the Obama Justice Department, Officer Darren Wilson was justified in shooting Michael Brown. The evidence (forensic and eyewitness) was undeniable.

Which means all those “Hands Up” people didn’t know what they were talking about. They were misled (at best) by certain other “witnesses” who lied.

But is raysist AmeriKKKa, The Man, still totes to blame? According to the very same Justice Department, yes indeed. The whole police force and city of Ferguson are racist anyway because a handful of ugly e-mails stereotyped Obama, and because the police in Ferguson arrest/cite a lot of blacks for infractions. So there.

You see, being a leftist means never having to say you’re sorry. Not even for lying or getting your facts all wrong, then going on a destructive rampage.

Democrats Embrace Lawlessness as Standard Operating Procedure

The fact that Hillary Clinton illegally used a private email server for her official business so that she could hide and delete any emails that would reveal shameful or illegal behavior will not stop her from becoming the Democrat nominee or even president.

This descent into lawlessness is not a new thing for Democrats. B.J. Clinton was also above the law. Lying under oath? No big deal. Al Gore’s illegal fundraising? “No controlling legal authority.” Ted Kennedy drove a woman into the drink and left her to drown… and was re-elected six times. Charlie Rangel violated tax law and received absolutely no punishment for it. Dem Congressman Alcee Hastings was impeached on bribery and corruption charges, and not only still serves in Congress but was co-chair of Hillary’s 2008 Presidential campaign.

They really are above the law.

Not only do Democrats not care about lawlessness when it’s one of their own doing it, but under Obama, they have discovered that completely disregarding the law is the best way to force their agenda. You really can’t blame them for embracing a strategy that works.

It’s not like the Republicans are going to stop them.

P.S. Back in 2007, Hillary had a different opinion on secret emails.
