Prosecutors say Enrique Pearce was in possession of nearly 5,000 images of child pornography, including video. Some photos depicted children and infants being sexually assaulted. In some, the children are tied up.
The district attorney argues Pearce is a threat to public safety, because in addition to the pornography, investigators say they found more than 100 images on his cell phone showing boys ages 7 to 12, who do not appear to know they’re being photographed.
One boy was on a man’s shoulders at a Giants’ celebration at City Hall. The district attorney is also concerned that police say Pearce has told another man he’d like to share a boy with a man.
Maybe he can share a cell with lefty-hero paedophile Larry Brinkin.
Also, here’s a story about public school teachers who molest their students, but since the teachers union is one of the most loyal Democrat voting blocs, no one ever suggests that there’s a “rape culture” in public schools.
Lemoyne college students now saying a cardinal shouldn’t be a speaker. A Jesuit college. My husband went to school there, not because of religion, but because of acedemica. He did take required religion classes but it was ALL religions but that was back in the day when all views were accepted. Remember those days? The ones hippies said weren’t aren’t accepted but fight not to be accepted now?
?? Huh
I would be willing to bet the abuse rate for teachers molesting students is similar to that of Catholic priests and perhaps worse.
The main difference is the Union helps protect teachers and districts and schools Arent one large organization under the head of one man and with a lot of wealth. The Catholic Church had assets the victims could more eapy target and the fact that the church was one entity made class action suits easier.
Exactly!
Also, priests don’t have union reps.
This is old news. A few years back I sent an article to Bruce to post on this very subject, which he didn’t. In it I remember the hypocrisy of the school principals, saying we know that young people lie or have fantasies. The principal who refused to dismiss an accused teacher, saying that a person is innocent until proven guilty.
Go into Yahoo search, sexual abuse of public school students coverup. You will see tons of articles. One that caught my eye this morning was Rick Rice reporting in 2011 on a study done by Carol Shakescraft, professor of educational administration at Hofstra University, which shows that a young person is 100 times more likely to be molested by a teacher than by a priest. The surprise of all is a LA Times article by a team of reporters exposing coverups by the LAUSD. I’ve been a student in both Catholic and public schools and nothing ever happened to me. I guess I just wasn’t sexy enough. I’m just thankful for my playmates, who also came out gay.
just me you would be wrong! at the time of the big democrat party-media complex’s great sexual abuse scandal in the catholic clergy the statistics on sexual abuse were: among the professions sexual abuse was lowest among the clergy, among the clergy it was lowest among catholic priests. you see sexual abuse was more prevalent among school teachers, the media, doctors, lawyers, the Hollywood left, and any other group you can think of. the reason the complex singled out the catholic church was because it was considered a political enemy of the left. it was a political hatchet job by the complex. I better bet for you would be that every member of the complex that were so outraged at sexual abuse in the catholic church was well aware of these statistics.
tommy651,
You are correct that it was a political hatchet job. The purpose was to diminish the influence of the church in the lives of its parishioners and the respect with which they held the clergy. The left was successful in replacing parental authority by giving that responsibility to the schy ools and teachers that are molesting the youth. The have brainwashed the students to be gestapo agents and report any physical or mental abuse by their parents to the teacher, who in turn have the parents arrested.
A good argument for home schooling.
This reminds me…
James Edward’s been quiet of late. 😉
