A Georgia middle-school teacher embracing the progressive ethos that since kids are gonna do it anyway, they should be encouraged to explore sexuality in a safe, responsible way… he decided to let them have sex in his classroom.
Considering we have a Safe School Czar who encouraged teenagers to have sex with strangers in bus station bathrooms, the classroom seems like kind of a step up from that.
But instead of rewarding him for creating a progressive, sex-positive, inclusive environment… the school board fired him
Crazy, right?
I mean, it’s not like he was one of those right-wing nutjobs who encourage kids to be abstinent.
It seems that according to the narrative being pushed on GP, the school system under Obama would have promoted him. Instead, they reacted in a way that you agree with.
What happened?
@CCP You don’t seem to understand when someone is pointing out the absurdity of it all. V the K was NOT supporting him. Was that somehow lost on you?
Twenty years ago I was a stanch advocate of public-schooling. Nowadays the system — and the very premise — seems to be totally buggered. [intentional word-choice]
Now I totally sympathize with my 50-yo friend’s endless agonizing over where to sent his 4-yo daughter next year when she’s due to start kindergarten. It’s not just his being nostalgic for what “school” meant when we were in school; it’s now becoming and existential challenge to parents of young children.
Home-schooling isn’t an option, children need to be socialized with other children…but without the Socialism.
Where in my comments did I insinuate I thought V the K was supporting him? Something was definitely lost on you.
Even progressives have to draw the line somewhere.
One of the things that seems to be a problem for progressives though-they push for more sexual awareness among the young but then believe sex between college students should be a written contract with multiple stages of consent. Now they have middle schoolers getting it on in the class room.
One of the texts from Wright to the boy appeared to read: ‘I ain’t got no condoms. Y’all can’t be long.’
I’m surprised he wasn’t teaching English.

Perhaps one solution to some of our school problems is to get rid of “education” degrees. Ed students are typically at the left end of the bell curve (SAT, ACT scores) in college admissions.
I have a suggestion for all this nonsense; Grant teaching licenses to anyone retiring from the US Military after 20-years, and offer them jobs without the union entanglements at a decent wage with benefits…especially the Sergeants and the techies.
You can’t be 20-years in the ranks and not pick-up decent teaching skills.
What is troubling to me is in the section reason for detention’ “another student made the comment, ‘you need to push it in further’ and Dalton(the detained student) added ‘that’s what she said.'”The most troubling is the what the female student said for the boy to push it in further. This was in the eighth grade, how much prior experience had that thirteen year girl have? Being gay and never having had relations with the opposite sex, I can’t believe that she was a virgin at that time.
Oh for the good old days when we teen aged boys were interested in playing sports and the girls were learning to cook. My last two years I attended a public high school. Girls were judged on whether the kissed or not on the first date, now it is whether they put out for sex.
IF vouchers were permitted, what would public schools look like after parents fled them to insulate their kids against the moral decay of the public school ghetto?
This article might present a clue. Here is the conundrum posed in the article:
The issue in the United States is not so much racial as it is cultural. Public schools in many places operate in a miasma of intellectual and moral decay. When the state is the parent and the state is fundamentally liberal, then the state will “parent” in an experiential, speculative style which adheres to the belief that hope and change will blot out inequality and squeeze justice, fairness, amity, achievement, inventiveness, excellence and wisdom into each ward of the state through the therapeutics of liberal dispensations and exemptions from moral and ethical restraints.
Why is it that I am continually disgusted by those who moral relevancy is grounded in the concept that evil does not exist?
I confess myself befuddled. The gentleman in question seems to be following the progressive sex education ethos perfectly, except for not supplying condoms. I have always assumed Vince to be a supporter of progressive sex education programs, so he should have no problem with this teacher’s actions. Right?
What am I missing?
It’s also funny, V the K, because CrayCray and rusty both shrieked that having sex with fourteen-year-old girls in a public school restroom AND inducing said fourteen-year-old to run away from home to have sex over and over again was perfectly normal, that opposition to it was “homophobia”, and something to be supported in Pride parades.
Which would explain why there are so many lesbian rapists teaching in public schools.
I wonder if he had other things on his record, its pretty hard to fire a black govt. worker.
ND30 imagining things again.
