Puzzled by the Behavior of the Pro-Abortion Left

July 16, 2015 by V the K

Is anyone else baffled by the response of the pro-abortion left to the notorious video of a Planned Parenthood executive casually discussing the sale… oh, I’m sorry, not the “sale” that would be illegal under Federal Law… the donation of aborted baby parts to for-profit commercial enterprises in return for financial reimbursement in the form of a cash transaction? They seem to actually be kind of angry and upset about it. Why?

Of course, some of them are claiming it is a fake, or borrowing the Talking Points Memo “heavily edited” descriptor, (even though the full, unedited video is available on-line). They are attacking the people who put it out, of course. They are denying that what the Planned Parenthood explicitly says in the video is what she explicitly says in the video. But the reasonable response to this, if you are pro-abortion, should be, “So what?”

If you are pro-abortion, it means you’ve made up your minds that babies in utero are not not entitled to any human rights until they pass through the birth canal and then somehow magically become human because science. (Note, there are some social left ethicists who don’t think babies or children have any right to live either, not until they become socially useful.) (And some say we’d be better off offing people at the other end of life’s continuum as well.)

Yes, there is that pesky issue of Federal Law, but it’s just odd to me that people who are so adamantly pro-abortion would have a problem with this. It does seem as though the left is much more indignant that their real beliefs are made public than at their real beliefs

Anyway, I thought the basic defense of Planned Parenthood was … “They don’t perform hardly any abortions, they just do mammograms ‘n stuff.” Which aside from being inaccurate, is an odd defense if you think abortion it’s totes fantastic.

The SS didn’t want anybody to really know what they were doing, either.

The left’s response to this puts the lie to their “pro choice” argument. They are in fact pro abortion and cheerleaders for the largest abortion provider.

I hope Jindal and his investigation bring this to the light-Lord know president abortion won’t allow his justice department to do deal.

They are stupid. In their stupidity they have convinced themselves that the right is evil. In the interest of not being evil, they align themselves with the left. As a result of being stupid, they actually think that the left, being opposed to the right, must be good in all things. Especially where the right gets incensed over something. It signals to these stupid left tribe members that they are onto something useful for the defeat of, what they perceive to be, evil.

The issue, though stupidity plays a part of it, is really the tribal mentality. There are times the right gets behind something that is quite bad because it is from the right (Patriot Act anyone?). Both sides are subject to the foibles of tribalism, but the left is always the dumber of the two.

For those who opened the [first] link and read it almost to the end, the late and unlamented Dr. George Tiller, a third-trimester abortionist who practiced in Wichita, Kansas, is mentioned. For the record, he was murdered IN CHURCH by a man who argued in court that he was preventing the murder of more near-term babies. [His killer was convicted and imprisoned; his defense didn’t work]. As a Kansan, I was dreading the possibility that Tiller would be acclaimed a Hero Of Choice; but he died in obscurity and no monuments or memorials have been erected to him….

Ever notice the fanatical zealotry of our liberal friends, of the Church of Climate Change, when they intone “the science is settled” on their fave topic?
Were a pro-lifer to point out that there has never been a credible scientific objection raised to the self-evident fact that human life begins at conception, so that “the science is settled” in the matter, they would not be answered factually; they would just become the object of ridicule for daring to question the sacred teaching ‘a woman chooses what is done to her body.’

It interferes with the pro-abortion cognitive dissidence they have going on. It’s hard to say your removing organs and limbs from a ‘little clump of cells’.

If people don’t have a right to live until they are useful to society, are these people willing to genocide 80% of blacks? The numbers from Puerto Rico make Greece look solvent but one of the biggest cash crops on PR is getting social security disability for not speaking English.
