Follow-Up on that Satan Statue Thing

July 27, 2015 by V the K

Turns out, it was pretty gay.

At approximately 11:30 p.m. Attendees shouted “Hail Satan” as two shirtless men pulled off the cloth that covered the Baphomet and then embraced and kissed each other in front of the statue.

What is the purpose of the Baphomet statue? I never got that.

Meet the new pagan, satanist 2-3%er national socialists/communists, same as the old 2-3%er national socialists/communists down to the sadistic 2-3%er Mengele types at Planned Parenthood.

So, what’s up with that? Are the “Hail Satanists” regarding same sex kissing as the hallmark of evil?

It is entirely possible that I do not understand Satan worship. As I understand it, Satanists act on their carnal impulses, thoughts and emotions. The more they overcome their minds the more they worship their desires. That is to say, they are dedicated to the mindlessness of orgasmic experience and sensation.

Since they admit to no evil, then anything goes and depravity is a virtue. Fine. But what’s up with the kissing? I would think that sexually mauling an infant would be far more orgasmic for the Satanist crowd than puckering up and tongue wrestling a same sex person.

    But what do I know?

There are two types of Satanists: the kind that everybody thinks of as Satanists, the whole “we love being bad” crowd, and then the people who think that Satan is God with bad PR. The latter group does not really worship Satan, per se, they still have the important bits of Christianity down, what with the whole Jesus being the son of God and all, they just take Satan’s name in vain when they curse, among other odd things.

As to the statue itself, the pentacle is upside down. That is actually a holy symbol on the thing’s forehead. Were the single point facing downwards, it would be a more accurate portrayal. My, they can’t even do their blasphemies right, the poor dears.

Actually there are Satanists (correctly described in one comment) and Luciferians–who believe that Lucifer is the god that should be worshipped instead of Jehovah. Why do a few gay guys want to do this stupid outrageous shit–and you wonder why you’re given bad press. Heliotrope, you really don’t have to go the Satanist route to be a slut and orgasmically indulge to the max.

Yeah, the shock value of 2 men kissing is pretty much over.

They’re gonna need a bigger gimmick. (To paraphrase a movie line).

Atheists think that Judeo Christians, and other theists are believing in someone or something that doesn’t exist, God. As a member of Religious Science I deny the existence of Satan. I do accept that there are people who do bad or evil things. Satan serves as a pretext not to take responsibility for their actions. The idea that “the devil made me do it,” ended when Flip Wilson’s show went off the screen.

    @#8

    That’s a good point(s).

Unrelated, I’m also a fan of Flip Wilson, the comedian.
