Evil Shadow Whore Announces Bid for Congress

August 11, 2015 by V the K

Hollywood actress Melissa Gilbert is parachuting into Michigan’s 8th Congressional District to try and Ashley Judd/Clay Aiken that district for the Democrats.

You may remember her performance as Evil Shadow Whore Anna Sheridan on Babylon 5; although I feel like she may have been in something else. Some kind of pioneer cosplay thingy.

Evil Shadow Whore is as good a synonym for Democrat as I can come up with.

I wonder if she’s going to pay the $360,000 in back taxes she owes before she runs.

Oh, sorry, she’s running as a Democrat, so those pesky tax problems don’t matter. Never mind me.

I thought one of the guidelines of this blog was to avoid profanity. The woman’s on-screen role may be accurately described by the title of your post, but it’s unbecoming of a thinking, sensible human being to use it to refer to the actress, especially when he would like to stand on the high moral ground.

Detail as much as you like the reasons you think she is unfit for elected office, but name-calling like this doesn’t help your cause.

B5 was a helluva show, much because supporting actors gave great performances in great characters.

And, bravo to the stars for having the confidence to let the supporting actors star too.

Actually that was one of the best scenes in Babylon 5 which is saying a lot. So many episodes during which Z’ha’dum was this terrifying mystery… finally go there… have some tea… and then the poop hits the rotary air movement device. Boom.

You know you’re on a blog populated largely by sci-fi geeks when the topic of the post isn’t recognized for her most memorable role to most of the populace, but for (presumably) her most prominent role in a series that some might think was a spinoff about a gay bar on another popular series.
