The greatest threat to our nation is not Democrats, or liberals, or progressives, or terrorists.
It’s a media that not only does not tell the truth, but advocates for one side of the issue. Even knowing that they do so doesn’t solve the problem. It only means you must search harder to find out the truth, which requires time–time that many don’t have enough of between working and taking care of their families.

But, they didn’t ask THE tough question – “Boxer or Briefs?”

Unfortunately, I think I’ve found that “our” media is comprised pretty much of all four of those things in varying parts and slight variances in extremity.
Likewise I’ve taken note that there’s people who don’t have time to check the news much, but there’s far far far more people who are simply too lazy to check sources, look for alternate takes on stories, or think critically. I kind of got to see this in action on another site frequented by the emotional youth crowd.
It was during that case where a student possessed something that looked like a Hollywood bomb and caused everyone to race to their fainting couches crying “ISLAMOPHOBIA!”, as if schools and zero-tolerance policies hadn’t affected anyone ever before. On that site, anyone who advocated waiting and who didn’t immediately condemned the school and authorities and the USA in general was a pariah, and every Dick and Jane proud claimed that the student was a future MIT graduate and engineering savant.
Cut to the present day, and suddenly it’s reversed. Now that the facts have trickled out and the farce was exposed, the family’s activist father and bomb-threatening daughter revealed, suddenly the people who were crying loudest about the evils of the country were suddenly backtracking. Now of a sudden they’re on what they think is the “right” side of the issue and are rejecting the fictional engineering wizard that they themselves concocted, and acting as though that’s the position they always had. Naturally they’re none-the-wiser from their errors and will repeat the same mistake ad-nauseum.

Kilroy I wish they where backtracking, but like the video of Mike Brown robbing a liquor store along with the “hands up” witnesses 10 min prior to him being shot, the facts don’t matter.
I attended a screening of the “”documentary”” Shenandoah about an illegal alien that was killed less than a month after an illegal alien raped a 13yo girl in the town(of course not mentioned). During the discussion afterwards I asked the filmmaker why she didn’t cover the illegal alien raping a 13yo white girl in town less than a month before(reported by Lou Doubs). She saw no possible connection even after asking how she would react to me if I had a tattoo on my face that said “MS-13 gang bangers” and the only people she knew with that tattoo before gang banged her against her will. Nothing but cognitive dissonance.

Once in a while, I start to think that lefties have a point when they complain about the “Citizens United” SCOTUS decision.
But when I see the in-kind contributions the media oligarchy makes to the left – like Hillary’s SNL “informercial” and “news interviews” where liberals get “how can you be so awesome yet so humble?” questions, I revert back to my belief that the decision was correct. The only way non-lefties can get their message out is to bypass the MSM any way that is available.
There is too much money in politics because politicians have so much to sell.

A media that does not tell the truth ia among the biggest threats to any country
