Not being overly familiar with the franchise, I’m guessing this is a sign from the know-it-alls in The People’s Republic Of Boulder that Ted Cruz’s utopia is one where teenagers have to fend for themselves?

I’m sorry, but I find this way-too-creepy.
Just like I find Ted Cruz to be a bit-creepy.
Somehow I just get a “bad vibe” from him…

Pretty bad poster if no one knows what you’re trying to say!

Mockingjay in the books was the sign of the revolution so I assume the sign carriers see Cruz as leading the conservative revolution against the establishment of at least those who control DC.
Cruz has been growing on me lately and while he isn’t at the top of my list he’s gotten pretty close and mostly because I know he is a conservative and isn’t establishment.

I’m somewhat with you there; he creeps me out far less as a Member of Congress than as a presidential candidate. His willingness to abandon his strong Constitutional principles in order to get some face time and bonhomie with Kentuckian Kim Davis is quite unnerving (as well as telling).
That, and the fact that his supporters are rabidly Trumpian in their support of him—it’s him or no one else. Every time I see one tout his wonderfulness uncritically, in the back of my head I hear “Evita…Evita…Evita!” (Or “Obama…Obama…Obama!”)

The only one that will close the border is Trump. We have the bottom 1/4 of Mexico living in the US, & even Mexicans find CA to be too much like Mexico for them to want to stay. Adding the bottom IQ people from a low trust society isn’t good for the US.

Even that socialist utopia Sweden has come to realize it cant handle 3rd world invasion. Catlady Foreign Minister Wallstrom is trying to force other nations to take their “fair share”
