The Left’s playbook explained

November 5, 2015 by ColoradoPatriot

It’s well-understood that the Left in America (indeed, the West in general) prefers to silence rather than to engage their political or intellectual counterparts. From speech codes to shutting down pizza shops that don’t hew to their ideology to barring campus speakers who don’t Think Properly (let alone the things they say!).

So it’s no surprise to anybody that, rather than challenging Donald Trump’s position on immigration, groups like Deport Racism are calling on audience members at this week’s upcoming NBC broadcast of SNL to disrupt the production and shout things at the Republican candidate. And no less a group than the Congressional Hispanic Caucus has asked NBC to simply not even have him on the show.

It’s a meme about the Left that they will have no truck with any sort of dissent to the end that any other opinions are verboten from conception; a meme as ubiquitous as its examples, and as exasperating to have to point out as the question, “Can you imagine if a Republican had said that?!”

But it’s not often that you can see on display the next stinky layer of the onion right in the same place. This is the video that the same group, Deport Racism has produced as there, um, rejoinder?

Indoctrinated foul-mouthed children yelling dirty words at a grown man, while surely ‘cute’ to many members of the Left’s base, also go a long way to explaining why shutting down opposing thoughts is the weapon of choice for Progressives:

They’re not very good at making arguments.

That is pretty much every leftist in the world.

While this is the first time using kids and teaching (?) them obscene language to trash the Donald, it is not the first video I’ve seen with foul mouth kids. I’m at a lost to say how we got to this level in society. When I was a teen, I never heard this kind of language from adults. If I had heard it and repeated it in front of my parents, I know my mouth would have washed out with soap. The leftists attitude is that the First Amendment protects only them. Free speech is free speech but obscenity should not be tolerated. Where are the PC police when they could do some good?

I’m often left wondering what kind of parent encourages their kids to be in a video like this.

Between the language and the attempt to shut down voices in opposition it’s just a bad lesson all around.

I’ll also add myself to the list of people who would never have said any of these words around my parents or other adults who would tell my parents. My mom wouldn’t even let me use the word suck (as in “that sucks”).

It really isn’t cute watching a young child swear.

And it isn’t limited to the left, as these videos of Muslim children attest:

I’ve noticed a trend that the leftist cycle of propaganda has worn out its welcome with main stream America.

    Great summary at AOSHQ:

What the left is appalled by is that they have done such strenuous work dehumanizing Trump (and all conservatives, and especially now all border-hawk conservatives), and they have even more Mean Girl work planned for the future, but SNL is ruining all that by telling the kid they’ve worked so hard to ostracize that he can sit at the Cool Kids’ Table for this lunch period.

It certainly isn’t, but there are plenty of adults in modern society who think it is. And those who don’t often tend to think that correcting those children who may engage in such behavior is “suppressing” them and denying them their basic nature, because children are really “little people” and therefore should be treated as such and allowed to pretty much do the same things.

yep, that was pretty vile. About as sewage as sewage can get. What an absolute shame these kids were used like this.

This is a fine lesson on what’s wrong with “diversity”.

Given that we don’t demand assimilation and immigrants have no desire to assimilate (they import the very culture they fled) – we wind up with an endless stream of grievance mongering and discord. The word “community” is one of the most over/mis-used words in circulation these days but we certainly don’t have one anymore.

If you don’t believe me, take a look at, oh, Germany these days.

I’ve met some pretty thin-skinned Latinos. One guy threw a temper tantrum when some friends at campus were doing something about Mexican culture and being a little goofy. Sombreros and fake mustaches, stereotypical Mexican accents, that kind of stuff. Silly, yes, but not mean-spirited. They certainly weren’t saying anything like, “Latinos are degenerate mongrels who must be exterminated.”

‘They’re not very good at making arguments.’

That is incorrect. They’re not capable of making arguments. Shouting shibboleths and ad hominem attacks are all they have.

Since they cannot rational refute what trump has said they must lynch him.

While I completely believe that you have, I also think that the ones which you have encountered are decidedly a product of both left-of-center campus culture and an activist upbringing.

Having lived most of my life in a region of the country where the dominant minority is Hispanic/Latin, there are still very pointed references and occasionally downright racist remarks overheard, but most of those who can readily identify with such remarks tend to ignore or slough them off. There are far more pointed and racist comments made about Native Americans in my neck of the woods, and even most of those affected turn the other cheek, despite having good cause to punch the living daylights out those making the statements.

Latinos have a culture of not just corruption but they believe its ok to break the rules if no one is watching. I have had my “fair share” of mestizo ex boyfriends.

Most non Asian minorities see whites as a piñata full of candy.

Steve, Living in El Salvador, I see motoroists beaking violating serious traffic laws passing and in front of police vehicles. In the U.S. the violators get tickets with large fines.
