Obama Administration Baffled by Laws of Cause and Effect

December 14, 2015 by V the K

The Obama Regime confesses itself baffled that their limp response to Islamist violence and their threats to impose gun control are driving Americans to buy moar guns.

[Obama Press Secretary Josh] Earnest indicated that he does not know why the American people are so drawn to guns, but he said it is “tragic” that people go out and purchase them in response to incidents like the San Bernardino attack.

“The more that we see this kind of violence on our streets, the more people go out and buy guns. That is both ironic and tragic.”

No, buying guns in response to violence and threats of gun control is not ironic, sir. Your surname is ironic.

If Earnest wants to talk about tragic and ironic, he could talk about Muslim terrorists murdering unarmed victims in a designated gun-free zone, in a blue state with strict gun control laws. And about how one of the killers was an immigrant, and another had visited the Middle East. And about how neither of them was ever on the No-Fly List, or any other anti-terrorism watch list. And about how a neighbor had noticed they were behaving suspiciously, but he didn’t call the cops, for fear of being called a racist and Islamophobe.

And about how the administration’s response has been to call for more anti-gun laws, to increase Muslim immigration (while turning away non-Muslim refugees), and to threaten to “take action” against anyone who dares to “raise the mantle of anti-Muslim rhetoric.”

Also, about how the MSM denounced the terror watch list and its subset, the No-Fly List, when Bush was president. The Atlantic and New York Times both pointed out the lack of due process, and the lack of objective criteria. Now that the list can be exploited to further the Left’s agenda, the media have suddenly learned to Stop Worrying and Love the List.

And, also, about how almost every mass shooting in the past fifty years took place in a designated gun-free zone.

Very rarely has the police prevented a crime, except if they come upon it serendipitously. The motto, to serve and to protect is meaningless. They don’t want to know anything until after the fact. When I was youth in my parents home in Bucks County, I saw a car parked across the street with two men sitting in it, and they weren’t making love. The house across the street was a three story Victorian, The house to the right of us was a chiropractor’s office and it was past office hours, and finslly us. I called the police and suggested they send a patrol car to look into the situation. The response I got was when something happens, give us a call.

Today I am best served and protected by my gun.

I haven’t bought a new gun in over a decade, but I’ve been eyeing this Coach Gun for a while as a xmas-gift to myself. Twenty-inches of dbl. 12-gauge IC, and with sights mounted it’s then-legal for deer-harvesting.

I have already determined that Obama is dangerously narcissistic and Earnest simply parrots what their official line is.

This, BTW, is the reason no Press Secretary lasts long. They get tired of espousing things they don’t believe themselves. Just try it with your best friend, and see if you can parrot all of his or her beliefs. It’s harder than you think.

To Obama, everything he does is for the good of the American people, even if the American people don’t think so. In this case, however, he sees gun violence and thinks, “We’ve been telling them that guns are causing this. I am at a loss as to why they are not only not listening, but buying more!”

He does not understand. He will never understand.

Let’s face Obama and the Democrats are baffled by most things and they just try to BS their way through.

Funny, whenever i see umbrellas, it is raining, yet whenever it rains, people run out and buy more umbrellas. How ironic and tragic. Sheesh.

We could have stopped them if we didn’t have a policy AGAINST looking at the social media of immigrants during the vetting process.

But instead of fixing that stupidity, the solution is to ban guns?

If you consider them all as traitors dedicated to the destruction of this country and its citizens, then all the policies of the last 7 years appear logical and consistent.

The simplest way to explain the behavior of any bureaucratic organization is to assume that it is controlled by a cabal of its enemies.

We have reached the stage were the rot has affected all three branches of government.

Sadly, I think we’re on our own on this one…
