Ann Coulter Has a Point

December 17, 2015 by V the K

Donald Trump is beating the GOP because he’s not shackled by the PC DC Mindset.

After the San Bernardino terrorist attack, committed by Muslim immigrants — which followed the 1993 World Trade Center terrorist attack committed by Muslim immigrants; the 9/11 terrorist attacks committed by Muslim immigrants; the Fort Hood terrorist attack committed by a Muslim immigrant; the Boston Marathon terrorist attack committed by Muslim immigrants, and on and on — Trump suggested a temporary pause on Muslim immigration.

The other candidates responded by attacking him viciously. Now, the eunuchs are duking it out over who has the most aggressive approach to … fighting ISIS!

…

Why are Republicans talking about starting a war in Syria to stop Muslim immigrants from killing Americans in America?

The idea that invading an occupying Syria will stop Mohammedan terrorism makes about as much sense as the idea that outlawing “assault” rifles will stop Mohammedan terrorism.

Within the DC Progressive circles, it is axiomatic that “Immigration is an unqualified good.” Within the upper ranks of the Democrat and Republican parties, that dogma cannot even be questioned. Any criticism of mass immigration is simply not tolerated. It would be like going to ComicCon and proclaiming “Phantom Menace was the Best Star Wars Ever!”

Jeb, Hillary, Karl Rove, Joe Scarborough, and all the rest pretty much don’t have to worry that their livelihood or security is going to be compromised by the next Tashfeen Suleman that slips through refugee screening, or MS-13 gang-banger that crosses the border. They aren’t going to lose their job because their employer used the H-1B program to import someone cheaper from South Asia or Latin America. But when you’re not living in a gated community, surrounded by armed guards, sending your kids to private schools, and connected to wealthy and powerful people who assure that you and your kids will always have money and security… the facts on the ground look a lot different.

If and when President Trump issues a temporary on admitting foreign muslims from entering the U.S. will the world complain? Some might but others will thank us. When FDR, issued his executive order to put Japanese American citizens in interment camps, was there protests? Some. But 12 Latin American countries deported its Japanese citizens(about 250 in number) to the United States for internment.

I believe that what motivates a voter to support or oppose a politician is a sense that he/she is on their side, however they define that. People support Trump because they believe he is on their side, specifically regarding Islam and immigration.

The only thing that will hurt him is something that makes his supporters think he’s not on their side. If he talks aggressively about immigration, that won’t cause that. If he doesn’t know the facts about this or that, that won’t cause that either.

Conservatives couldn’t understand why Clinton didn’t lose support for his habit of assigning interns work spaces under his desk. It didn’t make his supporters think he wasn’t on their side. On the other hand, Bush’s statement “no new taxes” made people believe he was on their side, and so agreeing to raise taxes later did cost him a lot of support.

I think William Kristol deserves some blame for the treasure and blood we wasted in the Middle East. That ghoul spent most of the 90s moaning that we needed a war to keep us lean, and was practically gleeful when the War on Terror got underway, because “war is a great way to keep a country strong.” Warfare as glorious means to keeping the men of a country aggressive? Hm, seem to recall there were a lot of Italian and German guys who thought along the same lines in the last century…

I would just like to point out one thing, someone that comes to a country in violation of the laws of that country or against the wishes of the people of that country are not immigrants they are colonists.

Coulter is on the Trump Train but she does have a point.

Given what I heard about the latest trillion-dollar dog’s breakfast of an omnibus bill excreted by Paul Ryan & co, is it any wonder that people flock to someone like Trump?

Of course Ryan promised that next year, they’ll be back to regular order. Right. And the check’s in the mail, he’ll call us in the morning and he won’t…. you get the idea.

In the meantime, the GOP has signed on to more worker replacement immigration, funding for BHO’s Syrian refugee project, and a paltry $66 billion of more spending on who knows what.

Anybody who objects to the use of the term “cuckold” to refer to Republicans and so-called “conservatives” who defend the conduct of the Republicans in Congress has no right to say anything. The Republicans promised that things would be different, that they would bring some reason and fiscal responsibility to Washington, and what do they do? Trot out an omnibus bill that will add another $1.1 trillion to the debt. Maybe the reason why Republican voters are giving up on conservatism… is because they are realizing that the politicians who espouse it possibly aren’t being honest? Let’s face it, modern conservatism was codified back in the late 70s/early 80s, back when there was still a freaking Soviet Union. In political terms, that’s like going back to before there were even an Appalachian Mountain range. You try to keep applying the same principles despite vastly different circumstances time and again, people are going to think you are nuts.

On a lighter note: Do you think Phantom Menace or Attack of the Clones is the worst Star Was movie? My money is on Attack of the Clones, personally: yeah, Phantom Menace has more Jar Jar, but Attack of the Clones is about 70% talking about nothing of any importance whatsoever, and that God-awful romance that makes Twilight look like the greatest romance of all time.

I was happy when John Boehner resigned as Speaker of the House, after doing BHO’s bidding during his tenure. Now more debt, more spending. What do we have? John Boehner light. I expected resistence and a sincere effort to bring both under control. The establishment wins again. Is there anybody in the House who as the “cajones” to do the peoples bidding?

@ Roberto: You assume that anybody in Congress even cares about the peasants electorate wants…
