Trump bailed out of the Thursday debate because Fox would not remove Megyn Kelly. FoxNews should have someone program a Donald Trump Quote generator based on an algorithm of his responses in previous debates. Megyn Kelly could pose it questions and it would spew out a random string of superlatives and hyperbole.

The parent company of FoxNews donates millions of dollars to a group that advocates Amnesty and Open Borders. So, Trump may have a point in calling them biased. But if he can “work with” Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, as he said, why not Megyn Kelly?

Tolerant Progressive Chris Matthews asks ‘Who’s going to watch a debate between the two Cuban guys?’ Definitely not the same people who want to watch a debate between two senile white Socialists and a human Ken doll.

Illegal immigrants love Bernie Sanders and Martin O’Malley. Mainly because they are promising to take the most money from other people and buy them things with it. It’s too bad for them illegals aren’t allowed to vote. (Wink, wink.)

When Trump said he would make Mexico pay for his wall, everybody said that was unrealistic and stupid. But Ho Chi Minh Sanders making ‘The Rich’ pay for Free Healthcare, Free College, Free Daycare and Free Everything for everybody including all the illegals …. that’s Visionary!

CNN says Bernie Sanders has an 18% chance of winning the Republican nomination. Given the state of the GOP Establishment, they may actually be right about that.

A Democrat city councilman in Indiana has been sworn in while in jail on murder and drug charges. And you wonder why Democrats don’t care that Hillary used an illegal email server to cover up her influence peddling?

“Tolerant Progressive Chris Matthews asks ‘Who’s going to watch a debate between the two Cuban guys’”

A couple of years ago, a then-coworker, who described herself, as they always do, as a “proud liberal” (*), opined that she didn’t care much for Miami FL because it was full of “dirty Cubans”.

(*) which, in English, is “I’m bat-shit crazy, and I will not engage in reason”

Only in America, can reason and silliness exist side by side. I did not know that the parent company of Fox support the advocates of Amnesty and open borders. The fact tht Rupert Murdoch does, does that mean that Roger Ailes does too? I thought the objective of Ailes for Fox News was to be fair, balanced, and unafraid. Two years ago seeing the mess that Obama has made, I felt that maybe we need somebody outside the political class to clean up the mess. My first thought was Donald Trump, then as I read Dr. Carson’s books I felt attracted to both as being acceptable. The good doctor is sinking, and Donald’s attitude, while having some legitimate basis, is becoming worrisome. Two years ago he thought that Megyn Kelly was the best moderator ever, but now she stinks because of a criticism? Senator Cruz has a point when he asks “how can Donald stand up to Hillary or any Democrat nominee, if he’s afraid to deal with Megyn?”

    They don’t need much:
I will make America great again.
    I will look at things.
I have a lot of friends at Fox, Megyn isn’t one of them.
I can shoot a man and everyone loves me!

Making Mexico pay for the border wall is easy: Any Mexican who wants to immigrate to the U.S. must first spend a year working on the wall, at no pay, with only the most basic subsistence provided (think tents and hot dogs)… or better yet, let their relatives in Mexico provide that.

Anyone who decides this is unfair is welcome to “escape” back to Mexico. But anyone who tries to duck out and invade illegally … well, now it’s either 5 years on the wall, or back to Mexico you go. A third time across the border without doing your share as this national service, and you get shot.

Wall gets built for the relatively-trivial cost of materials, and everyone who comes here earns a stake in protecting America.

Previous comment by Robert (#4) used the word worrisome to describe Trump’s attitude. Which I agree with completely after being willing to cut Trump some slack for quite a while. It’s not what he says or who he attacks, to me, because he’s fighting for the nomination. It’s who he’s showing himself to be, a less than sharp narcissist who has been sharp enough to pre-empt & get the conservative issues out, to get his true believers to flock to him but someone who isn’t the sharpest stick in the fence. But this willingness to attempt dictation of public debate, by virtue of his celebrity just doesn’t sit right with me. Also, he hasn’t taken up Cruz’ challenge of debate one on one. I think everyone knows that Trump’s limitations extend to actual conservative principles & beyond. He’s an adept businessman, for what that’s worth. He’s not conservative & the promises behind his words cannot now be taken for granted. Besides, I’m a little tired of fending off rabid Trump supporters whenever I defend an action by Cruz or criticize a Trump stupidity. That said, I’ve pulled back from Cruz after rethinking, again, his eligibility question, one, & two, my tendency to let the gladiators slaughter each other while I wait to see who gets the laurel. But with Trump’s increasing his king of the universe schtick, I must admit to becoming less interested in it all, at this time.

In Trump’s defense, what has he to gain be appearing in yet another tedious and pointless “debate”? I’m sick of the debates even though I don’t watch them, I’m sick of Iowa and NH, and sick of the campaign. It’s like a rash that won’t go away. The Canadians are onto something limiting the length of campaigns (and the fact that when someone loses, they’re out… no lame duck shenanigans).

How many more times must we have to hear about Kasich’s father the mailman? Or immigrant parents? How many more platitudes about “working families” and “the children” which, as anyone paying attention knows, they really don’t give a s**t about?

Trump’s a clown but I can’t help but like him given the pain he’s meted out to a lot of people that deserve it.

Should Trump get elected, a lot of his supporters are going to be sorely disappointed when they find out that not much will change. Because it won’t make a lot of difference.

Interestingly, NRO had a good column up on Trump by Conrad Black.

    http://www.nationalreview.com/corner/430336/trump-dealmaker

Black seems to get it – much more than Williamson, Cooke, et al. The one thing Black said that was alarming was the idea of a dark horse, like Paul Ryan, getting the nomination. If Ryan gets it, I give up.

The writers at NR are obtuse. Charlie Cooke has a column up telling “Trumpkins” to shut up and argue the points. What Charlie fails to understand is that most people are apolitical – they don’t care. What they do understand, though, is that our politicians aren’t just failing to represent our interests, they are actively working against our interests.

Susie Bluejeans wouldn’t know Jonah Goldberg from Rube Goldberg; Russell Kirk could be captain of the Enterprise… but she is on the receiving end of the consequences and knows enough to know where the problem comes from. Trump, for all his faults, managed to connect at a level none of the current candidates can manage. For all I know, Trump doesn’t believe what he says but he appears to know the common man far better than our elected rulers.
