As predicted, even after winning gay marriage, the gay left is not going away. Activism pays pretty well, and the hours are good, and the alternative is trying to find a real job in the Obama Economy. So, to keep the donations rolling in to support their worthless jobs, the gay activist left must constantly seek out new enemies to target with their activism; Christian bakeries, for example. One of their new enemies: Religious colleges.
A coalition of more than 80 gay rights groups are expressing profound frustration after unsuccessfully demanding that the National Collegiate Athletic Association divest from “religious-based campuses” that have “requested discriminatory Title IX waivers toward LGBTQ youth.”
Did you know there were 80 gay rights groups? That’s a lot of donor lists to keep worked up and angry about stuff.
The central goal of the letter was to ask the NCAA, which governs athletics at more than 1,100 schools across the nation, to divest and pull support from Christian or religious institutions that have made these requests for waivers.
