Constitutional Carry Signed Into Law in Idaho

March 26, 2016 by V the K

While states with “Common Sense Gun Laws” are prosecuting actors for handling prop guns and confiscating guns from veterans who check in for insomnia treatment, other states are embracing the Constitution and respecting the basic human right of self-defense.

Idaho Governor Butch Otter has signed a bill allowing concealed carry of firearms in city limits Friday afternoon. SB-1389 allows Idahoans who are 21 years or older, to carry a concealed firearm statewide without a permit.

Can you believe his name is Butch Otter? It’s like having a Democrat President named Femme Twink.

The same law was enacted in Maine in mid October to cries from anti gunners that Maine would become the Wild Wild West (which really only existed in Hollywood). Instead, the gun crime rate has gone down, way down. Still early but the fears were totally unjustified. What the anti gunners didn’t want to acknowledge was that the bad guys were already carrying concealed, no permits. They actually thought criminals where just waiting to be able to carry legally to commit crimes.

Butch Otter is that a concealed weapon in your pocket, or are you just glad to see me? Yeah, that has to be the best name in politics right now.

Don’t forget that Idaho has also given us Senator Crapo—who should, by name, be a Democrat (but he’s not).

There’s nothing “Common Sense” about NJ’s gun laws.

Maybe I am just too cynical for my own good, but it actually PLEASED me to read that a cop got his guns confiscated for the same reason a mere “civilian” would in his state. Who does he think he is? A congressman? Exempt from the laws that apply to “the little people”? Let him live with the laws he was enforcing against the peasants. It just might wake up his fellow LEOs.
