From the evidence, it seems possible that a left-wing gay pastor tried to stage a “hate crime” for publicity and profit. He claims that a baker at ‘Whole Foods’ wrote the word ‘FAG’ on a cake, and the sight of the word has traumatized him beyond the limits of human endurance.
Austin Kaplan, Brown’s attorney, released a statement in which he explained that Pastor Brown “continues to be overwhelmed by the feelings of pain, anguish, and humiliation because of this incident.” Kaplan added, “He frequently shopped at Whole Foods, which makes this all the more shocking and disappointing. What really concerns him is knowing that unless some action is taken, this kind of thing could happen again, and that someone else might have to go through a similarly excruciating experience.”
Arguing against Pastor Brown’s version of the incident:
- The person who decorated the cake is described by ‘Whole Foods’ as “part of the LGBTQ community.”
- Pastor Brown claims he didn’t see the horrible, horrible word until he opened the box, even though the box had a big ol’ plastic window on top through which the top of the cake could be easily seen.
- “Video surveillance maintained by Whole Foods shows that the sticker label sealing the cake box, which Brown suggested was never tampered with, was originally on the top of the box. In Brown’s YouTube video, the sticker label sealing the cake box is seen on the side of the box on the bottom. If this claim by Whole Foods is true, then clearly Brown’s proclamation that the cake box’s “seal” was never broken is a complete lie and suggests that this is nothing more than a social justice warrior hoax.”
FWIW, we had Whole Foods cupcakes when one of the women in the department had a birthday. They weren’t very good. They were way too dry and had way too much icing. Yuck.
