Film Critic Laments “Heterosexual Virility”

Joanna Robinson, a tiresome leftist hack, hacks tiresomely at the new Captain America.

So while Marvel was likely never going to make the homoerotic subtext of Cap and Bucky into text, would it really have hurt to keep their relationship more ambiguous? As if to put the nail in the coffin of speculation, Bucky and Cap paused for a moment in the middle of snowy Siberia to reminisce about their days chasing skirts in pre-War Brooklyn. It’s a sweet, human bonding moment but one that also bristles with heterosexual virility. If Disney isn’t inclined to give audiences a gay superhero, couldn’t they have at least left us the dream of Bucky and Cap?

There can be no entertainment on the left; only propaganda for the agenda.

Fundamentally Transforming the Suburbs into the Hood

The Obama Administration, sensing that its time to “fundamentally transform” America is running out, is planning a final year push to seed peaceful suburban communities with violent inner city thugs.

The scheme involves super-sizing vouchers to help urban poor afford higher rents in pricey areas, such as Westchester County, while assigning them government real-estate agents called “mobility counselors” to secure housing in the exurbs.

Castro plans to launch the Section 8 reboot this fall, even though a similar program tested a few years ago in Dallas has been blamed for shifting violent crime to affluent neighborhoods.

It’s all part of a grand scheme to forcibly desegregate inner cities and integrate the outer suburbs.

Anticipating NIMBY resistance, Castro last month threatened to sue suburban landlords for discrimination if they refuse even Section 8 tenants with criminal records. And last year, he implemented a powerful new regulation — “Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing” — that pressures all suburban counties taking federal grant money to change local zoning laws to build more low-income housing (landlords of such properties are required to accept Section 8 vouchers).

Everywhere this scheme has tried, it’s led to higher rates of violent crime and property crime in the areas targeted while not leading the beneficiaries of the scheme to better educational or economic performance. The leftist response has been to double down on failure and threaten critics with legal action.

There’s really not much option if you’re one of the suburban homeowners targeted by this program but to purchase a firearm and learn how to use it effectively; unless you live in New York, California, Connecticut, New Jersey or some other state where your Constitutional Right of Self-Defense has been infringed to the point of meaninglessness.
