The Pink Pistols wish to remind gay folk that you cannot count on the same Government that screened Omar Mateen and Tashfin Malik to protect you.

Also, a dingbat reporter in Philadelphia is shocked to find out that law-abiding citizens can legally purchase guns for self-protection.

Meanwhile, in Londonistan, the new Muslim mayor is already starting the sharia creep: http://dailycaller.com/2016/06/13/londons-muslim-mayor-bans-sexy-women-in-advertisements/

Of course, for Cinesnatch and his willing allies in the media, it’s nothing to be concerned about. *Heavy sarcasm*

“How are we supposed to believe that syrian migrants are going to be vetted ans we will be safe”

This isnt a “vetting issue.” He wasn’t doing anything that was worth putting him in Jail. In fact he looks to have been going to gay clubs, and hooking up with guys online. And his parents seem like decent folk who raised an evil kid. So this is not an immigration issue. The root cause is here is a us citizen born and raised that the gov knew was a risk but he could still buy guns.

Similar to Timothy McVeigh James Holmes and Dylan Roof, all had warning signs, professionals knew Holmes was dangerous. The government knew McViegh was dangerous, friends knew Roof was dangerous. Yet the feds had no recourse because….they did nothing actually wrong. Hell in this case, it looks like he was self-hating Gay man who had access to lots and lots of weapons.

It would be nice if the gov could at least ensure that citizens of the country who the gov suspected were dangerous could be banned from owning guns. But…everytime that has been proposed some folks worried about their 2nd amendment rights. And because of all of the other amendments, there wasn’t anything that could be done to put this guy away.

And here we are. It would be nice if at least we could restrict these extremists from having access to guns…but you and I both know that will never pass

Of course, Little Letter Mike – who tacitly supports extremists like this radical Islamic jihadist – conveniently forgets about this: http://philadelphia.cbslocal.com/2016/06/13/milo-yianopoulos-islam-is-the-problem/

Are you the cutest little bigoted totalitarian. Your brownshirt is showing.

Thought experiment: if Mateen had been named Joe Smith and been a straight, white, Christian GOPer, the FBI and/or DOJ would have been all over him like – you should pardon the expression – white on rice after receiving reports from his co-workers about homophobic expressions and thinly veiled threats of violence against his co-workers. They most certainly would not have dismissed the complaints as being products of racism as the FBI did with the actual investigation of Mateen. So, which way is the prejudice (racism, whatever you want to label it) going? The stupid is strong in our government at all levels, just in case you haven’t noticed.

hey mike…just like the Boston bombers weren’t doin’ nuffin or the San Bernadino jihadis weren’t doin’ nuffin or the Fort Hood freak weren’t doin’ nuffin. Each one was on the radar because of what they were doing/who they were meeting with/supporting/saying. Each time we were told they weren’t a threat. In the San Bernadino case, they dropped it because it was ‘racist’ to profile jihadis.
But you keep defending your lefty politicians who have allowed all of those people to be massacred. Perhaps the islamic promise of diddling little boys is more tempting than your own self-preservation but history tells me the chances of survival under sharia law is against you.

“least ensure that citizens of the country who the gov suspected were dangerous could be banned from owning guns.”

Let’s do the same with words. The media seems to think an atmosphere of hate has been created by the spoken and written word. However, not one media outlet is calling for their rights to be restricted. Lil letter mike isn’t calling for that either. Why is that?

Lil letter mike proves his facism (in the name of safety and security) by tossing out one of our basic tenents of freedom, “Innocent until proven guilty”. I wonder if he would agree, in the name of safety of course, that every gay sexual encounter must be approved first with all participants obtaining a permit to engage in sex. Or would that be too much of a burden for him to secure the safety of the gay population? After all.. All gay men are disease carrying until proven otherwise.

Lil little mike is like the 3rd grader wishing for a crystal ball from Hogwarts to get rid of the imagined monster under the bed.

You guys are all over the map.

Annie seems to be calling for.. increased scrutiny of Muslims citizens. While others seem to say I am fascist because think weapons of mass destruction should be out if the hands of people with links to extremist groups….

So basically the right has no ideas on how to keep weapons out of the hands of extremists/mentality deranged. Instead all you got is just misdirected anger…..too bad.

There was a time when conservatives had actual ideas. Now all you have is spittle.

Of course, that’s the same mantra to leftist useful idiots were chanting *then*, too. That rather indicates that the “problem” isn’t with us conservatives, but with the useful idiots themselves.

Is there something wrong with increased scrutiny of muslims with jihadi ties, mike?

Address what I said. The Ft.Hood jihadi dropped red flags all over the place and he was ignored until he massacred a bunch of innocents. The warnings about who and what the Boston bombers were doing/making contact with, were ignored. San Bernadino investigation was dropped, even though that guy was red flagging all over the place, because the obama administration said they don’t ‘profile’. They dropped the investigation into this gay jihadi because they implied his concerned co-workers were racist for being concerned.

So, why is it okay to profile white Christian bakers, pro-lifers, militias…….who have done nothing, threatened nobody, but it is not okay to investigate/profile jihadis, from countries, in perpetual war with everyone until they submit, whose religion dictates they kill gays/infidels, who are associates of terror groups?

Why do you lefties think your politicians, bought and paid for with Saudi blood money, give one sh*t about you? Unless you want to goose step in their army?

I dislike Trump in many ways, but he is correct in that we should freeze immigration from that part of the world until we can get our house in order. There is no excuse for these ‘lone jihadis’, who were under investigation, to be allowed ‘fall through the gaping holes’.
Trump just needs to realize that obama and hillary (yes, mikey, hillary’s closest aide’s family belongs to the Muslim Brotherhood….Hillary takes millions from the Saudis, who would delight in removing your head from your neck) filled these agencies with members of the Muslim Brotherhood. This is why these jihadis have been carrying out their attacks. Tacit approval is coming from the ‘top’.

“Is there something wrong with increased scrutiny of muslims with jihadi ties, mike?”

Constitutional scholars might say so. But as you say sometimes practical measures can be introduced. I for one would say that no restrictions on muslims are not productive because it does nothing to stop other radicals who are also in our midst.
Restrictions on gun sales and keeping people who have extremists veiws might have stopped Orlando AND Charleston.

mike – to state the obvious, perhaps it’s prudent to not import any more people from backgrounds with a propensity for violence and anti-social behavior. At least, as Donald Trump said, until we have some means of effectively screening them.

The problem with looking for “extremist views” is that “extremist” is defined by the powers-that-be to be anything they want. The Germans are now treating speech along the lines of “we don’t want more Muslim immigration into our communities” as extremism to be suppressed by the gov’t. When gov’t proscribes the rights of citizens to peacefully seek redress for grievances, the grievances don’t go away; they fester until un-peaceful means are used. Aside from a human right, free speech is a safety valve.

If the west hadn’t permitted mass Muslim immigration in the first place, we wouldn’t be faced with trying to figure out how to keep tabs on fanatics while not becoming a surveillance state.

I cannot figure out the logic behind the left’s “bake the damn cake” tyranny while, at the same time, the left agitates for Muslim privilege. But I’m not crazy.

Restrictions on gun sales and keeping people who have extremists veiws [sic] might have stopped Orlando AND Charleston.

There are already restrictions on gun sales. There are restrictions on gun use. As has been pointed out on this blog and its comments many, many times, it doesn’t stop those with criminal intent from executing their plans and other people. Australia now has a virtual ban on firearm ownership and yet it didn’t stop a gunman in Sydney who decided to take hostages inside a Lindt cafe. Canada isn’t far behind in its restrictions and it didn’t stop a gunman from entering Parliament. UK has virtually no firearm use whatsoever and yet the National Health Service now calls “knifecrime” a national epidemic.

The reason the Orlando shooter used firearms was because they were familiar to him and he had experience with them. What the gun grabbers fail to realize is that if there were anyone who would have been able to easily purchase firearms in a more restrictive society, it would have been someone like him. Personally, I’m convinced that if he had not been able to acquire firearms, he would have used an improvised explosive device to the effect that the carnage would not have been prevented, but only delayed. An explosive device could also have likely caused more damage and maimed or injured many more people.

With regard to the efficacy of more gun laws and restrictions preventing mass shootings – has everyone already forgotten that there was a Much Bigger mass shooting in the Bataclan Nightclub in Paris in November? In a country that has VASTLY more restrictive gun laws than are even being proposed? In a country with NO “gun culture”? And that those gun laws did NOTHING to stop the mayhem?

Or how about a bit before that – did everyone already forget Anders Behring Breivik? He murdered 77 kids and young adults in Norway – in a really big gun free zone on an island. Guess what – lots of restrictions in Norway relative to the US, no 2nd amendment and no NRA – how could THAT have happened?

Seriously, is this kind of selective amnesia some sort of mental illness or something?

How can you look at a world where mass killings take place on a regular basis in all kinds of countries, with all sorts of restrictions on individual rights, almost always at the hands of Islamists or Leftists, and conclude that the problem is the 2nd amendment and ordinary Americans?

    Insanity….
