Community Activist: “Abolish the police.”

July 12, 2016 by V the K

We need to abolish the police, period. Demilitarize the police, disarm the police, and we need to come up with community solutions for transformative justice.” — Jessica Disu, community activist

“Sounds good to me” – Every urban thug.

You should really treat yourself to the video so you can see the smug look of simultaneous self-righteousness and clueless vacuity as she makes her proclamation.

What do you suppose she means by “community solutions for transformative justice?”

Nothing. She means nothing by it. She just likes the sound of the words as they dribble out of her pie hole.

You know who else thought they were a “community solution for transformative justice?” The KKK.

In today’s America, people are soooooooooooooooooooooo……full of it!

I wish all Community Organizers like that could go live in their own community somewhere. With no police. No religion. No standards to make anyone feel bad. Perfect socialism and sustainable Windmill energy and youth programs and organic farming or whatever they’re into. And then tell the rest of us, how it turned out.

Oh wait, that happened in Cambodia.

The leftists don’t want you to own a gun, and they want to abolish the police. So, what about protection from crime?

“Community solutions for transformative justice.” Meaning higher taxes and more welfare programs to eliminate poverty and social injustice, the root causes of crime. Yeah, right.

    “Community solutions for transformative justice.”

Neighborhood vigilantes, a convenient tree branch, and a rope.

That’s what “justice” and “crime control” was for thousands of years before the late 19th-century. Horse-thief? Catch ’em and hang ’em. Thieves? Cut off their hands or noses. Tribal eye-for-an-eye justice like in the old days. Heretics, missionaries, witchcraft? Burned at the stake or “pressed”. Slander and defamation? Dueling at Dawn.

The term “outlaw” meant if found and captured they could be slain or enslaved out-of-hand without trial or clergy. “Dead or Alive” was meant literally. English Common Law still allows for private law and prosecution outside of the Queen’s Bench.

“God made some men small, and some men large; but Col. Samuel Colt made them all equal.” – anon.

People today seem to want some faceless community to watch out for them. I recently found a post in my neighborhood discussion board from someone who had had their car broken into in the week hours and had things stolen from it.

Their solution: A Community Watch group. Right.

I asked if they had locked their car, and the response was, “I shouldn’t have to!”

To which I responded, “So, you don’t think you should have to lock your car? I don’t think I should have to watch your stuff for you at 3AM while you get to sleep.”

    I was called a troll.

“Arm yourself because no-one else here will save you…”
    – The song of our times, sadly.

    This community activist either
    1) lives in a tony suburb away from the riff raff.
    2) has a gun in their house
    3) is protected with security.

Gays and feminists see Uncle Sam as the biggest Sugar Daddy around. For years New Yorkers have known that the mafia does more to protect them from moslems than cops.

Before there was income tax the US had schools roads hospitals firemen & even airports.

I wonder if Jessica has given an instant’s thought as to *why* there are police.

If all people were good, there’d be no need for police, laws, locks, contracts, jobs for pay. We’d all just get along, working for the sheer joy of producing for our fellow human beings…

In real life, laws/police exist because the meek haven’t yet inherited the earth. Without laws/police, we all become the property of the meanest SOB on the block.

Jessica is an idiot. There are many idiots. The frightening part is that people take this crap seriously.

(That’s not to say that the police are infallible and that there aren’t stupid laws and stupid enforcement priorities.)
