According to Microsoft Word, Trump’s acceptance speech was delivered at the level of comprehension of a high-school freshling.

Hillary’s convention speech was at the comprehension level of an 11-year-old.

I have never thought Hillary Clinton was particularly “gifted” in expressing herself.

However, I do think that Trump speaks in clunky, gyrations. That is to say that “an orator, he ain’t.”

That said, I think far fewer people are confused by what Trump is saying than are the people who glaze over when Clinton discombobulates and befuddles.

Whenever I hear stuff like this, I constantly go back to the fact that Obama rarely spoke off the cuff. He was very good at delivering a prepared speech, but pretty bad at speaking extemporaneously, filling his sentences with…uh…that is to say…uh…I….uh…well….

Hillary doesn’t do that, but you can never believe what she says. “Like…with a cloth?”

Trump isn’t the most eloquent speaker when speaking extemporaneously, but you know he is speaking his heart, something you do not get from Obama or Hillary.

And he will NOT give in to Political Correctness.

You have to love the narcissistically hostile behavior of the political class to the voting electorate. If you have to obfuscate and prevaricate, you’re lying.

The gays over at towleroad said I am not a real gay for asking if Ambassador Steven’s husband is a widow or widower. Which while being a legitimate question should put their coverage over the moslem daddy into perspective.

There hasn’t been a radical Islamic terror attack in days, Mr. Trump.

That’s right culturally saying there hasn’t been an attack in days is acceptable for those familiar with Islam. But it is a lie as a priest was stabbed in Belgium today

Trump talks simply so the he can be understood by all and peoples brains can devote their recourses to big ideas, rather than decoding big words. In an video from the 80’s he can be seen using big words talking to congress trying to convince them that selling govt owned property at 5 cents on the dollar is bad for the Nation, even if it would be good for himself and Buffet.

So we have people with the intelligence of a high schooler. Great.

Don’t confuse intelligence with speaking comprehension level awareness. To English majors, journalists, and professional speakers it’s no secret that if you want your message to be received by the largest number of people possible, you don’t talk to the most intelligent in your audience, you talk to the lower end of the literacy scale of your audience. Most everyday communication (product instructions, catalog text, packaging material) is written at a sixth-grade level. Newspaper articles, in general, are written at a tenth-grade level, or lower. If you’re a new hire at a newspaper and are trying to show that you have the future potential of a William Safire or Bill Buckley, your copy will get returned to you by an editor telling you to “dumb it down” or “write it for the students, not the professors”.

Thus, it was no accident that the Democrat candidate spoke at the comprehension level she did. I wouldn’t be surprised if her speechwriters put the text through their own Flesch-Kincaid processor to insure that they weren’t speaking above their intended audience’s literacy level. Remember, when you’re just a po’ folk who ain’t got no fancy edumacation, you don’t want your heroes to talk down to you, you want them to talk at your level.

This election is just a disaster. All the choices are just terrible. Even the Libertarian candidate is a lefty.

I am trying to disengage from it and focus on positive things in my private life.

I am turned off.. the only thing I can concentrate on is the appointment to SCOTUS justices for the next POTUS. The rest is just “noise”. We have to keep Mrs. Clinton from making those appointments. Even one new anti-gunner on the court and 2nd Amendment rights are gone for good.

V the K: “Even the Libertarian candidate is a lefty.”

Of course the Libertarian is a lefty; when push comes to shove, most “libertarians” (and the more so the capital-L Libertarians) will gladly side with the leftists.

This is because if there is one thing “libertarians” hate worse than governmental force being used to confiscate wealth from the people who produce it so as to buy the votes of people who don’t, it’s governmental force being used to negatively sanction immoral behavior.

If someone on the Trump-2016 campaign staff doesn’t get the The Donald to STFU about the Khans he’s going to blow the 2016 election. Dart him, stun him, break-out the cattle-prod — just get him to stop already!!– it’s just indefensible how he’s handled this.

Another week of this insanity and he’ll be unelectably-toxic.

“9.Trump criticized a Muslim soldier recently, what do you think of that? He didn’t have to go there”

He criticized the (immigration lawyer who sells citizenship to moslems)dad who put his dead son up as a prop. Steve Sailor Points out the Ft Food moslem and one other killed more fellow US soldiers than all of the moslems that have died serving the US in the past 100 years.

Given that and the BLM black moslem National Guard Baton Rouge cop killer, Khan’s death likely saved American lives, as he was killed before he experienced an attack of Sudden Jihad Syndrome and turned his guns on his fellow soldiers.

…Khan’s death likely saved American lives, as he was killed before he experienced an attack of Sudden Jihad Syndrome and turned his guns on his fellow soldiers.

    THAT comment is indefensible.

…And a perfect example of the “loose lips sink ships” brain-dead motor-mouthing that will cost the GOP this election, the White House and SCOTUS.

I thought we just might be spared Hillary, now I fear we’re doomed to 25-30 years of crushing leftist soft-fascism at the hands of the progressive national socialist Elites. Twelve days ago it was within the GOP’s grasp…and it’s being pissed away.

    ** le sigh**
At the current pace-of-events by the end of this week, Donald J. Trump will have to withdraw from the race. We are doomed.

He’s alienating everyone with this mind-fumblingly-stupid feud with the Khans, and his comments today about “…wanting a Purple Heart” will cost him in every VFW and Legion Post Hall in America, in every union hall and small-town barber shop. I spent the entire Evening News muttering “…just STFU!!” at the TV-screen and cringing.

Anecdotally, the Trump-2016 yard-signs are starting to disappear in my neighborhood here in rural Southern New Jersey. He’s losing the Rust-Belt swing states…
