Obamunism Against the Hippocratic Oath

August 28, 2016 by V the K

Remember how the left used to claim it would be wrong to outlaw late-term abortions because the relationship between a doctor and a patient was sacrosanct (am I using that word correctly, Throbert?) and the Government had absolutely no business inserting itself there?

Yeah, about that…

The Department of Health and Human Services recently issued rules telling doctors they can’t decline to perform gender-reassignment surgery on kids if it’s recommended by a “mental health professional.” Refusal could be a career-ender.

So, the Government can’t tell a doctor he can’t murder a healthy unborn baby at 32 weeks, but it can absolutely force a doctor to perform a genital mutilation on a confused young teenager.

Because equality.

Nobody wants to talk about the fact it is genital mutilation. The people that support it are enablers to genital mutilation. If your child was a cutter, an anorexic, or a bulimic, you wouldn’t let them continue on that self-destructive behavior. We had a male-to-female in the office who blackmailed his parents for the $100,000 worth of surgery by threatening to commit suicide. Made me sick.

Less than 2% of the batmerdecrazy. Bisexuality, homosexuality and GID are manifestations of neurotic behavior. We, as the majority normal heterosexual population, refuse to aid and abet the neurotic behavior and associated paraphilias/delusons of less than 2% of the population to the most impressionable amongst us. The batmerdecrazy gender benders of the APAs/ABA, the federal judiciary, the executive branch, the legislative branch and those 2%ers in line positions within corporate America can self fornicate because that’s what sadomasochists do best.

I think it’s becoming a problem to simply seek to repeal awful laws passed by leftists. When conservatives are in power, we should just apply their laws totally and fairly until they repeal them themselves.

Case in point, all psychiatrists should be required by law to offer conversion therapy. Pharmacists who oppose the death penalty should be sought out and required to provide poisons for lethal injection.

Also, conservatives should enter ‘sanctuary cities and register to vote, and use their emergency rooms and then skip out on the bill.’

So, what prevents the gubmint requiring doctors and nurses to participate in procedures they believe immoral?

Abortions? How about lobotomies? Sterilizing the poor/incompetent?

“Three generations of imbeciles are enough”. – Oliver Wendell Holmes

Why can’t gubmint force a physician, PA, or RN to administer lethal injections in prisons? Or euthanize a human being?

The lefties either don’t think much about the slippier-than-you’d’think slope… or they’re OK with it.

The totemic symbol of the Democratic Party should be crossed snow skies with doubled black-diamond; for their love of playing on exceedingly-dangerous slippery slopes.

None of this is a “slippery slope” for these monsters, folks. It’s “progress.”

That is a joke, you could kill someone just by ODing them on Tylenol, or garroting them with a feather boa.

I don’t understand how this is enforceable, other than as an attempt as a scary finger-wagging towards providers. It’s a violation of medical ethics to perform procedures against your own judgment. Further, most malpractice insurers would be reluctant to cover a future claim when the provider/insured performed a procedure against their own best judgment.

The end result will be the same as many government-mandated actions: there will be fewer providers electing to do sexual reassignment surgery and the cost will increase due to the skittishness of insurers to cover against that for which they may be held liable.
