A Month in the Life of Islamist-Occupied Britain

Terrorist arrests, female genital mutilation, creeping sharia, assaults on women and soldiers, suppression of civil rights (of kaffirs) and they don’t care for dogs very much either.

“This area is home to a large Muslim community. Please have respect for us and for our children and limit (IOW ban) the presence of dogs in the public sphere.”

“As citizens of a multicultural nation, those who live in the UK must learn to understand and respect the legacy and lifestyle of Muslims who live alongside them.”

  1. Just as in 1939, when people in Poland and France had to learn to respect the lifestyle of the Germans who came to live among them.

  2. Snopes.com and several other sites are pointing out that the leaflets could be a hoax, and pro-Muslim groups are disavowing any knowledge of it, but the fact that this thing could have credibility in the first place shows how far we have sunk, in terms of trying to accommodate immigrants who refuse to assimilate, and who demand that the host country adapt to them.

  3. It’s cute that they still call it Britain.

I guess “love it or leave it” is out of the question.

  4. Once Great Britain. Actually pictures of Paris during the Nazi occupation showed ethnic French being happy. When I was in Paris the blacks where revolting.

  6. Even if it turns out to be a hoax, it’s totally believable that Muslims expect the locals to assimilate to their culture rather than the other way around.

Absolutely. Forget the UK for a moment; one has only to look at places almost next door such as Denmark and Norway. Accommodation by natives trumps assimilation by newcomers every day of the week. Many attacks on women and gays have been reported. Yet the controlling governments still bend over backwards to be “welcoming” even when it compromises longstanding native cultural values.

  8. […] they don’t care for dogs very much either.

At least that means overwhelming most parts of the US won’t be likely in the foreseeable future (save for enclaves such as Dearbornistan). People are canine crazy here in the current era.

  9. #8. Agree. People may not mind giving up their culture and their rights as Americans, but no way will they give up or get rid of their dogs.

  12. I’m sorry, but part of me can’t help but notice that Near-Eastern faiths seem to be hypochondriacal and prudish. Choose death over eating pork, ham, or bacon… don’t eat shellfish… don’t eat predators… dogs are dirty animals and you can’t have them as pets… don’t have sex with menstruating women… dude-on-dude is gross… I mean yes, there are health concerns related to these things, but there are ways to circumvent these issues beyond “don’t do these things ever.”

  13. Apparently it is indisputable that the UK has ceased to be a nation with a distinct, deeply rooted culture and has become instead a multicultural nation. But why do the Muslims who live in the UK not have a corresponding obligation to learn to understand and respect the legacy and lifestyle of the British who live alongside them?

    13. Pork and shellfish can be poisonous if not cooked correctly. Religions that favor eating pork came from areas where pigs ate things people couldn’t, religions against pork had pigs competing with them for food.

As someone noted on VP-It’s clear that the Jew mindset evolved in the desert, and in government institutions, where the landscape changes little. This characteristic level of non-self-awareness would have been weeded anywhere near an ocean, forests, or mountains. Or anywhere where there are large predators.

To me it sounds like a place where al-Cray-da would be right at home.

  17. I’m sorry, but part of me can’t help but notice that Near-Eastern faiths seem to be hypochondriacal and prudish.

This is why most scholars (at least those who are interested in being authentic and honest instead of politically correct) cite Islam as being in the same place Christianity was in the Middle Ages. Give it another 500 years and it could mature into a respectable and unifying religion.

Alternatively, why is it that you, Sean L., can see that but the appeasers who think that kowtowing to Judeo-Christian norms and traditions is silly, archaic, and superstitious though according practitioners of Islam that same understanding is cutting edge thinking and demonstrative of the best example of tolerance, cannot?

On the contrary, both Jewish and Muslim dietary laws allow the restrictions to be suspended in times of severe food shortage, or if a doctor orders an invalid to eat more protein, etc. And the idea that the rules developed to prevent food poisoning (or whatever) doesn’t make much sense, because the whole point is that they were surrounded by pagan cultures who DID eat pork and shellfish and meat-cooked-in-milk (etc.) on a routine basis without suffering ill effects.

(I would add that the meat and milk of camels is perfectly wholesome, and traditionally of great importance in the Arab diet. So the Jewish instance that camels are “unclean” — because they chew cud but did not have cow-like hooves — was a source of grievance for early Muslims, who claimed that the Torah’s unambiguous ban on camel meat/milk proved the original text had been corrupted!)

  19. @ RSG: My education in science stressed not leaving “facts” unexamined, and being willing to question one’s assumptions, even if I didn’t want to. That may have something to do with it.

If Islam could move towards a Reformation/Baroque period, figure out a way to integrate the West, I would have no problems with it. Unfortunately, too many are unwilling to do so right now.

@ Throbert: I’m a simple on-and-off Catholic boy. Any dietary restriction beyond “fast on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday, abstain from meat on Fridays in Lent” seems unnecessarily complex to me.

The Muslims in UK might claim these are lies or exaggerations but this is someone who is gay and had his home there.
    He can’t take it anymore.
He points out a poll where he learned:
One hundred per cent of British Muslims think my lifestyle is unacceptable. Over half of them want my sex life to be made illegal.
    http://www.pinknews.co.uk/2009/05/07/poll-finds-zero-tolerance-for-homosexuality-among-uk-muslims/

Who thinks Muslims have ”assimilated” since that poll?
    They don’t assimilate.
They go out in groups and insist YOU adjust to their standards.
They beat people for simply having a beer at the sidewalk cafe in Londistan.
They also make lying and dissembling (taqiyya and kitman) a way of life (if you let them by beleiving them.

  23. For the same reason they wouldn’t take Palestinian refugees in 1948, 1967 or 1973; they are “Other”. The events leading to the Black September crisis in 1970 demonstrated the dangers of allowing massive numbers of unassimilating refugees creating a defacto state-within-the-state to Jordanian survival and the national culture.
