Now now China has a long history of acceptance of queers, didn’t you see Madame Butterfly? So what if the only people its cops are killing now are black.

Steve (#3), The Puccini opera takes place in Japan, And only the sexual tastes of Butterfly, her cad of a husband, and a suitor (all straight) matter at all in the plot.
I don’t understand your references to China and “an acceptance of queers”.

They stepped into it by labeling it a matter of “human rights”; they should have been honest and just said it was a business decision. But at the end of the day, it would have been more problematic to hold the events in NC given the tenor of the times and all the Kaepernicking going on. It was an easy decision, and one that won’t be regretted by the persons responsible for the decision.

why does everyone cave in to so easily to the demands of the left?

Because apparently they are afraid that they’ll be called names.
If anyone ever gets the chance on this forum, please read Ayn Rand’s essay entitled “The Argument Against Intimidation.” It was a life-changer for me. I went from being Mr. Go-Along-to-Get-Along to Milo v2.0.
I remember the words of former Israeli PM Golda Meir: “We do not negotiate with terrorists. Once you do, they will control you forever.”
The same could be said of the Libtard Left. They are to me the worst type of domestic terrorists. Period.

Part of the problem is there’s really no conceptual-construct for an epitaph that’s the antonym of “Racist!”, “Fascist!” or “Bigot!” to hurl at one’s opponents that packs any moral approbation or satisfying emotional punch.
What is the epistemological-opposite of “damned redneck”? …”Yuppie”? Nope, just doesn’t have the emotional and historical baggage.
“Pinko Commie!” just creates blank-looks and confusion, and the old-chestnut “N**ger-lover” is strictly taboo (…with good reason…) and really doesn’t work didactically anyway.

The funny thing those idiot leftard douchers don’t know their history. Che was a giant homophobe and hated black people.

And thus why the teachings of Saul Alinsky work so well. When your opponent prides themselves on civility and fair play and expects everyone else to do the same, it’s easy to thwart them by being uncivil and dirty. It’s like bringing a knife to a gunfight. Saul would have loved the modern-day Internet for its ability to facilitate the type of tactics he espoused with rarely a chance of self-incrimination or responsibility for any acts perpetrated.
