The Only Good Part About This Election: Watching Leftists Lose Control of Their Faculties

Finding things to be happy about in this election is rare. One of the few sunny spots is watching left-wingers become completely unhinged, especially as Hillary’s poll-numbers start to tank. (The Hillary campaign is looking like the cockpit in an episode of ‘Mayday’ about the time the automated cockpit voice is yelling “Pull up! Pull up!”)  The left is trying to rescue Hillary by throwing one faux outrage after another against the wall in hopes of finding something that sticks.

Today, there was something about Trump’s adult offspring that was supposed to be bad, but all I saw of it was a crawl on CNN “Trump’s kids have turbulent night” or something. But, then they moved to trying to reignite the birther outrage, but that kind of totally backfired on them. (The media are suckers for the birther thing, and Trump played them like a golden fiddle, perhaps procured in Georgia during a contest with some guy with horns and a cape.)

So, later on they decided to try and gin up faux outrage by claiming… I am not making this up… that Trump called for Hillary’s assassination.  What he said was that since Hillary is such a fan of Australian-style gun control, maybe she should disarm her Secret Service detail. Now, even a leftist Democrat operatives knows that he was just using hyperbole to make a point, but that didn’t stop them from pretending that this was a call for an assassination and demanding that the Secret Service lock Trump away.

The left knows that their voters are highly emotional, poorly informed, and can be manipulated if they can just find the right stimuli; like in 2012 when they convinced highly emotional, poorly informed feminist voters that Mitt Romney was going to outlaw tampons.  Hillary’s “basket of deplorables” remark was part of this strategy. It was a message to highly emotional, poorly informed voters that might not like her very much that people that they hate (“Racists! And Sexists! And Xenophobes! Oh, My!”) would be happy if Trump won. And what she was saying was, “Isn’t making people you don’t like unhappy more important than my history of corruption and pathological inability to tell the truth?”

They’re going to keep flinging stuff until they find something that works.

In the meantime, they are just going totally bat-guano looney-tunes.

  1. I simply LOVE how Trump is handling the press. He knows that public opinion of the press is low, because of decades of dishonest partisan reporting. So, to see him play them like this just had me laughing.

  2. The people misquoting Trump, saying that he wants Hillary Clinton to get assassinated, are the same ones who misquoted Hillary Clinton in 2008, and said that she wanted Obama to get whacked.

And the Secret Service agents assigned to Clinton’s security detail (and Obama’s, too) should be unarmed. Their job should be to hang up “gun-free zone” signs wherever the candidate goes. If it’s good enough to protect our school children, it’s good enough for our politicians.

  3. I saw a comment elsewhere that Trump is not running a traditional campaign where candidates campaign by gathering large sums of money to pay for various advertising. HRC is a master of this style. Trump is running an insurgency where he appears here and there, says something that would cause the instant demise of a party politician then moves to the next appearance. The media feels compelled to show this latest “outrage” but Trump is elsewhere saying something equally salacious. The legacy media is literally exhausting their capacity for self righteous outrage while promoting Trump. They’ve played so many “ist” cards that everyone is seeing how they have been scammed by the legacy media.

Meanwhile in California, land of leftoid paradise, they are all up in arms over Gov Moonbeam taxing tampons. remember, they like taxing things so there is less of it . . . this is why they like taxing addictive things and business, wealth, etc. so we get less of that

  5. The best thing about Trump getting elected will be seeing the leftist moonbats get butthurt and their panties in a waad. They’ll be taking tantrums like little children.

  6. Now the Democratic Party’s PR team (aka the MSM) is trying to say that birtherism was not a smear that Hillary’s cronies started back in 2008.

They got punked hard, and they now it. Now Hillary’s poll numbers are taking a hit, and they need to feverishly work to rewrite history. Part of me hopes this leaves a permanent impact on Hillary’s poll numbers. At the very least, this is egg on the media’s face, and it’s going to take some time for them to wipe it off.

  7. The blank look on the woman’s face is priceless. She completely discounted the difference between legal immigration and illegal immigration. Studies have shown that one of the most enthusiastic illegal immigration reduction groups is legal immigrants. They get it.

  8. Sean, that ain’t egg on the MFM’s faces….

And yeah, I am thoroughly enjoying how Trump has been trolling our “betters” in the revisionist news media. It makes my tiny, cold, little black bean sized heart absolutely kvell! Finally, someone on our side who has big, brass ones that isn’t silenced by political correctness and the threat of bad media coverage. Although, I realistically don’t see Trump winning (I fear all the fraud, fawning media, celebutards, corrupt legal system and our own stupid electorate will give Hillary the win), I love that he is exposing the malfeasance of the media and the Democrat party. It would be fun, if he did win though, to host some kickass farewell parties for all my leftard friends who have vowed to go a hundred miles or so North and move to Canada.

  9. The brat that stole the hat should have been arrested for assault and battery; the dim girl said “thank you” and should be facing charges for aiding and abetting.

  10. @ runningrn: Trump’s not a conservative, he’s a populist. Not that there can’t be overlap between those categories, but still.

Trump would not have been my first pick- but then, I wasn’t really satisfied with any of the candidates. As I’ve said before, I’ve decided that between Trump and Hillary, the country can survive Trump, and maybe even recover a little, but with if Hillary gets in, she’ll just pick up where Obama left off and both render the country’s decline irreversible and accelerate it.

Speaking of Canada, in case anyone missed it, the exchange in the posted video occurred at a university in Calgary. I find it amusing that the attention to detail being given to this election is as great amongst some of our neighbors to the north as it is here. Watching the SJW have a meltdown over someone appearing to support a candidate in another country is a soothing antidote to the reaction of some of her contemporaries every time Prime Minister Boyfriend appears somewhere and inevitably says something “cool”. (Which is like, totally every time he opens his mouth.)

  15. Oh, Sean, I know Trump isn’t a true conservative, and he certainly wasn’t my choice either, but he is the girl we brought to the dance, so we’re stuck with him. That being said, I do love how he is driving the left absolutely mouth foaming nuts. He really lives in their empty heads positively rent free! And I also love that he is giving corrupt, lying, nasty hag, Hillary a run for her considerable money! This was suppose to be a coronation for her. Remember, there are Democrats who voted for Trump in open Primaries because they saw him as the most beatable candidate. Grandma was suppose to clean his clock and then wipe the floor with him, which would have only burnished her “smartest woman”, tough as nails faux persona. Trump has revealed numerous things: she ain’t that smart, she’s not that tough, and she’s a lying, whining, fat, unhealthy, entitled, money grubbing harpy. Between Wikileaks and Trump, the Clintons have certainly lost their luster. They look old, tired and angry.

Not to mention ‘unhealthy’. Apparently that’s what eventually happens when you make a deal with the Devil.
