“Can’t We Just Throw Up and Move On?”

October 23, 2016 by V the K

Concise review of a children’s book the left has put out to indoctrinate children on how wonderful Frau Clinton is.

It would be hard to write a fair and compelling children’s storybook about Hillary Clinton. Most of her many scandals are unfit for children. Her struggles are largely symbolic, against abstract obstacles such as expectations or criticism, and her actual accomplishments are few. We keep hearing that this woman is the most qualified presidential candidate of our lifetimes, and yet, try as it might, Some Girls Are Born to Lead can’t quite hide the fact that her life story isn’t much of a story at all.

Here is all the children need to know about Frau Clinton.

Anyone want to comment on the towleroad hitpiece on gay republicans? http://www.towleroad.com/2016/10/log-cabin-republicans/

One of the Hillary ads I hear on the radio has some guy–a veteran if I remember correctly–talking about why he doesn’t like Trump and then saying, “that’s why I’m voting for Hillary because she will fight for people like me, and she has accomplished so much.” But it doesn’t tell us what she has accomplished. Every time I hear the ad, I talk back to the radio: “Oh really, tell us WHAT has she accomplished???”

The only ad I’ve heard that mentions any Hillary accomplishments is one that talks about the passage of the CHIP program while she was first lady and Bill Clinton was president. Every time I hear that, I think, “And that’s all they’ve got?” She didn’t write the bill, she didn’t vote for it, she didn’t sign it into law. She only “helped” by doing some lobbying for it.

Every piece about Gay Republicans on Towleroad is a hit piece. It’s hardly remarkable….in between the ‘articles’ about shirtless Twinks and Celebrity blow-jobs.

Thank you. Much as Andy Towle would love to pretend that he’s being fair and objective by including such stories, the commenters and the tone of the stories are basically stuff you’d see by That. Jervis. Guy., only with slightly better packaging.

I’m guessing you’ve only seen the film and have not read the book. The film adaptation only showed her good side.

@ KCRob: That’s because she’s played by Imelda Staunton in the movies, who’s far more “sweet, adorable grandmother” than “horribly ugly, condescending hag.”

You know, J.K. may have intended for Umbridge to be a swipe at Thatcher *eye roll*, but that photoshop makes me realize that Hills acts far more like book-Umbridge than movie-Umbridge.

And in other related news, gays who vote for Trump are being issued death threats:

There are a lot of local members and boardmembers up in arms over the LCR diss of Trump.

It was a shame too because we had the Log Cabin LA meeting flooded with Trump supporters from the Trump rally across the street in West Hollywood on Friday. Our speaker was the gay Republican that got beat up outside the San Jose Trump rally.

The outpouring of love and support from even those eeeevilllll Christians at our event was incredible. We also got tons of exposure from Baked Alaska’s Periscope of the event.

The national board just like the Party itself is tone deaf and locked in their world of fundraising and cocktail parties and has no clue about how it is on the street.

The LCR is still functioning at the local level?? Here in the Northeast they can’t even successfully organize a cocktail party — no-less galvanize any meaningful political action.

“Can’t We Just Throw Up and Move On?”

I’m all for “moving on” if that includes a DeathRace 2000 scene.
