I’ve been trying to figure out what common trait binds Clinton supporters together. As far as I can tell, the most unifying characteristic is a willingness to bully in all its forms.
If you have a Trump sign in your lawn, they will steal it.
If you have a Trump bumper sticker, they will deface your car.
if you speak of Trump at work you could get fired.
On social media, almost every message I get from a Clinton supporter is a bullying type of message. They insult. They try to shame. They label. And obviously they threaten my livelihood.
We know from Project Veritas that Clinton supporters tried to incite violence at Trump rallies. The media downplays it.
We also know Clinton’s side hired paid trolls to bully online. You don’t hear much about that.
Yesterday, by no coincidence, Huffington Post, Salon, and Daily Kos all published similar-sounding hit pieces on me, presumably to lower my influence. (That reason, plus jealousy, are the only reasons writers write about other writers.)
Joe Biden said he wanted to take Trump behind the bleachers and beat him up. No one on Clinton’s side disavowed that call to violence because, I assume, they consider it justified hyperbole.
Team Clinton has succeeded in perpetuating one of the greatest evils I have seen in my lifetime. Her side has branded Trump supporters (40%+ of voters) as Nazis, sexists, homophobes, racists, and a few other fighting words. Their argument is built on confirmation bias and persuasion. But facts don’t matter because facts never matter in politics. What matters is that Clinton’s framing of Trump provides moral cover for any bullying behavior online or in person. No one can be a bad person for opposing Hitler, right?
Case in point: Mike Pence’s dog passed away recently. People with normal levels of compassion know how tough the loss of a pet is. But to the Hillary-Supporting Democrat-Left, it was just another opportunity to mock and ridicule.
That the Democrat Left is bullies all the way down is nothing we didn’t already know (much like the previous post). But I want to address why there is so much hatred and bullying on the Democrat Left and I think it amounts to a couple of things.
One is that Democrat-Left politics are emotion-driven and hate is an emotion that is cheap to make and easy to harness. It is very easy to gin up hatred based on envy/resentment of others. The Democrat-Media-Academic complex are like a vast industry, working three-shifts to gin up resentment and hatred … telling their dumb but emotional followers that rich people have all the money and aren’t sharing it and that’s why they have nice houses and you have to scrape by; telling their dumb but emotional followers that white businessmen have all the power and that’s why you live in the ghetto; telling their dumb but emotional followers that Christians are the reason gay people are miserable. Hate works.
[But, but, but… some Democrat Left troll will argue… isn’t that just what your hero Donald Trump is doing? 1. Making this argument is proving my point about the left. 2. Concerns about Muslims committing terrorism and illegal immigrants causing hardship to the working class have documented evidence to support them. Whereas “white privilege” and all the rest of the left’s scary talk is nonsense ginned up by the left’s Product Design Bureaus in Academia and the Media.]
The other is that if you are a person who is already predispositioned toward hate, the Democrat Left provides an environment where hate is embraced and encouraged. If you pathologically hate men, the Third Wave Feminist movement will give you a nice warm spot where you can rant about male genocide and your unshorn sisters of the apocalypse will give you a heart “Right On.” Suppose you pathologically hate white people? #BlackLivesMatter will sign you right up. Do you pathologically hate Christians? Welcome brother.
Those are my thoughts? What do you think.
TnnsNE1 adds anther factor: Immaturity, many leftists are still emotionally 7th graders.
I think it all boils down to maturity levels. Liberals (for the most part) are stuck in middle school. They weren’t picked for kickball, they went to school dances without dates, etc. They don’t seem to be able to move past that needing approval from others stage. I find this especially prevalent with liberal gay folks.
